Early rising

Baby keeps waking at 5:15am he cries/whines we try resettle but doesn’t go back to sleep. Do you get out of the cot? Or keep trying to go back to sleep? Edit - we’ve changed and fed still won’t go back and isn’t cold

May need a clean nappy or feed I'm guessing

If you've changed the nappy and fed, it might just be that they're an early riser. We often get 10/12 hour stretches of sleep but baby tends to wake by 6am naturally (16 weeks) xx

If mine wakes and has been fed and changed, I try and leave him in his cot until 6 if I can, even if he's just babbling to himself, to try and get body clock used to 6 being morning Sometimes it doesn't work and he'll get himself worked up, at that point I just give in and get him up

My daughter is an amazing sleeper and always woke at 5:30 naturally. She'd go down at 5:30 pm and wake at 5:30am. We just embraced it as our new schedule. Was wonderful getting long evenings to ourselves! And great for babysitters lol my advice would be to try an earlier bedtime!

I used to just bring my little boy into bed with us for a couple of hours if he woke up at that time. I still do now if he wakes up that early.
