Pump question!

Expecting another little one soon and was wondering what everyone's experiences with wearable pumps were. I used elvie last time and it basically killed my supply :( so looking at cheaper options on amazon like momcozy m5 or jheppbaby. Has anyone used both and would recommend one more than the other? Thanks everyone!

Poor experience with wearable pumps ☹️ would constantly leak and poor supply

I have the momcozy s12 ( I think it is, been ages since I looked at the box ) and it’s fabulous. So comfortable and good at emptying

Momcozy s12 xx

@Victoria i used that pump as well as swear by it, i tried loads and always leaked this never leaked and was comfy to wear as well, only thing i dropped the motor and it broke but can get a replacement on amazon without having to buy a full new one 😊

My son had poor latch when he born and we saw a lactation consultant at the hospital who assessed etc as I was so desperately wanting to breastfeed and she said to avoid electric pumps for at least the first 6-8 weeks / until baby is established on the breast properly. I didn’t know any of this when I was pregnant and went straight in with the Medela swing flex (I think that’s what it’s called) from day 1 and felt so shit that I could only pump 1-2oz per session, if anything at all. She explained that the electric ones will act like they’re draining supply if baby isn’t established first as you don’t get the spittle backwash (could be entirely wrong with how it’s written as was 18 months ago 😂) that comes from baby that tells your body what to make and how much etc. Unfortunately he ended up needing prescription milk due to severe reactions but I’ve always kept it in mind in case I have any more little ones xx
