Sleep Advice

So my son has a bed time of 8:00-8:30 depending on when he’s ready for bed. He wakes up 2-3 times a night still and will wake up at 6:30-7 ready for the day most days. He takes about 2 naps during the day he’s always slept in his bassinet/crib first nap is always the longest usually about 1 1/2-2 hours and the second about 30 minutes-1 hour so he sleep roughly about 2 hours during the day and his wake windows before bed is always long to make sure he’s tired and ready for bed but he still wakes up so much and gets up super early

How old is your son? My baby is like this too. He's 10 months but should only be 8.5 months. We have tried giving him a later bedtime to get him to sleep in later, but he still always wakes up early. So we just put him to bed early. He goes to bed at 6:30 and wakes up at about 6:20. I actually like this schedule because it gives my husband and I some time in the evening day to ourselves. This is roughly his schedule: 6:20 wakeup 9-10 nap 12:25--2:30 nap 6:00ish bedtime routine

@Kenedi he’ll be 10 months in another week.

@Kenedi I’ve done the same as you and tried giving him a later bed time but he would still wake up just as early and wake up as often through the night

@Sarah we're in the same boat then! Katie or Nicola would know more than me, but I just go with it and bump bedtime earlier.

@Sarah hi there! What awake windows are you following? At 10 months he should be able to handle 3.5-4 hours awake. A sample schedule would look something like: 6:30 awake 10-12:00 pm nap 1 3:30-4:30 pm nap 2 8:00 pm bedtime Or 6:30 awake 9:30-11:30 am nap 1 3:00-4:00 pm nap 2 7:30 bedtime While I love early bedtime I would try pushing awake windows between naps!

@Katie he’s always super ill and ready for a nap after about 2 - 2 1/2 hours🥲
