Hiya , hope you're doing OK after your ectopic? I had one in May 22 and it was removed using methotrexate, was advised to wait 3 months before trying again. Fell pregnant in August but unfortunately it was another ectopic in the same tube, my tube was removed in September. I then fell pregnant like 2 weeks after and my baby boy is now 18 months old x
@Lea congratulations he is adorable xx
@Zelica hi, I’m doing better after my ectopic. I’m still coming to terms with what happened but I’m ready to try conceive again. I’m just praying I can have a natural pregnancy this time when I do get pregnant again. It’s awful having to wait and then not try. But I feel more confident that nothing will happen when we try again but I know it could happen again. X
@Lea he’s gorgeous congratulations! I had my right taken. I’m just wanting to try again and hopefully not have another ectopic knowing it could happen again. Trying not to think negatively this time whilst trying to conceive as I was really negative and was right about what was happening. Trying not to lose hope but it’s all I can think about. Xx
I understand ! I was told that because of the removal of my tube and the fact I have a bicornuate uterus it could take me 2 years to fall pregnant again , but it happened pretty quickly . I wish you the best x
I've had 3 ectopic pregnancies 1 tube removed then 1 treated with methotrexate on other side and 1 resolved itself. Had my remaining tube checked both times to see it wasn't blocked, I started doing Chinese medicine and accupuncture along with abdominal massage and also took looks of additional vitamins and was very careful with foods, we were due to start our first round of private IVF and found out we were expecting that week and everything by a miracle was in the right place and currently 32 weeks pregnant. So I am a big advocate for alternative medicine as it was the only thing that helped me after 3 ectopic
It originally took me 8 months to fall pregnant. I had an ectopic pregnancy in Feb 2025, I had my left tube removed. I then fell pregnant 3 months later and now 32 weeks with a baby boy on the way. It can and will happen mumma!
@Natasha I’m hoping it doesn’t take me years and years to try fall pregnant like it did with my first but after losing 6 other pregnancies I’m mortified and feel like I’ll never have another child. But trying to think more positive this time round and hopefully things plan out how I hope they will. Xx
Hi, I had a ectopic pregnancy and tube removal in July and fell pregnant successfully in my uterus In October. I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant :). Chances of another ectopic are EXTREMELY slim especially since you have had that tube removed. Once you do fall pregnant ask them to do a viability scan as soon as possible just to make sure baby is in the correct placement. Good luck to you!
I had my tube removed in August, fell pregnant again this month but going through a chemical pregnancy I believe. Hoping so desperately for a 2025 baby 🌈 good luck x
I had a tubal ectopic that ruptured and was removed in surgery and then fell pregnant 3 months later with my now 2 yr old; I also have endometriosis and adenamyosis so feel extremely lucky all things considered. Wishing you lots of luck for a rainbow baby too 💕 Also you should be able to self refer back to the early pregnancy unit for an early scan when you fall pregnant again to check it's viable/in the right place which I found great for peace of mind when you've been through an ectopic before xxx
Sadly I have still not been successful since my tube removal in April - I think letting your body heal is the best thing and I think my body has just taken longer, some people conceive very quickly after x
