Fussy whilst feeding?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and could help me! My little girl is 13 weeks this Friday and for the past 2 weeks has been feeding as normal but towards 10-15 mins of a feed she will begin to pull on my nipple and get really fussy. I have tried burping her as she also can go very stiff but the constant pulling off and relatching is super annoying! She is gaining weight brilliantly so the HV didn’t seem too concerned and has plenty of wet/dirty nappies. Is this an issue with my supply? TIA xx

I was thinking the same thing as my son does that too! Gaining weight beautifully, enough wet/dirty diapers but seem to get fussy at the boob. It used to be in the evenings mainly when I have less milk but now it’s almost every feed. I’m also pumping little after feeding so I occasionally top it off with that milk and he’ll take it. I talked to pediatrician and he said there could be many reasons for baby to be fussy while feeding: milk flow either too slow or too fast, having to burp, gas, sleepy or just bored lol. So many reasons for that. My baby is 9 weeks old

This is developmentally normal at this age! They are starting to notice things around them more and get distracted and can’t focus on eating. Try to feed in a quiet room alone as much as possible. It’s also great that baby is still gaining weight!

Yes soon as mine turned 11 weeks he’s been like this! BF is not the peaceful thing it once was 😂😂 it’s moreso in public I’m finding it tricky now
