@Laura I was thinking night terrors. It’s like he’s screaming while asleep. He’s sitting up and I can’t talk to him or console him. Might have to cuddle in bed with him then? X
Yes my LB has had these for quite a while now. He doesn’t get them a lot but when he does it’s almost like he is having a tantrum in his sleep. No consoling him as he’s actually asleep. The only thing I’ve found that works is I get in his cot and lie next to him and that seems to calm him down
Just laughing thinking about last night as he had a night terror (he’s ill atm) and I had to get into the cot (he’s still in a cot) 32 weeks pregnant…the cot nearly fell apart
@Millie I just used to hold him close and stroke his hair and that seemed to work! I was told not to try and wake him 🤷♀️
Might be nightmares/terrors! Best thing to do is just sit with him let him know your there and let it work through! My older boy suffered dreadfully when he was about 3 and half/4 then one night it just stopped 🤷♀️
