baby sleeping on front?

my baby’s just over 6m now and he is ADAMANT on sleeping on his front, every time i roll him back to his back, he just rolls back over, and after doing that for 5-10 mins he gets really aggy. i don’t like the idea of him sleeping on his front and he can’t roll back onto his back yet, is it okay for him to sleep on his front? i’ve read conflicting advice so want to see what other mamas think, i really don’t want him to do it but he will ALWAYS end up back on his front 😭😭😭😭 please no sassy comments i am literally just a woman asking for advice not a lecture thanks xxx

Baby's fine. The suffocation concern is more so before baby can roll/move head intentionally. Assuming baby isn't laying flat on their face and there's nothing but baby in the crib babys fine

Baby will be fine, my lo is almost 9 months and she’s slept on her front since 5 months, only a few weeks later she learnt to roll from belly to back. The first night I moved her back she rolled back within seconds so gave up.

My son just turned 6 months and he’s the same . He tends to even sleep better on his front. Most of the time he tilts his head on the side so he’s fine. Don’t worry too much xx

I think once they are able to roll themselves you can't really stop them. If they are facing to the side should be ok. My kiddo did same thing

thank you everyone that’s put my mind to ease a bit, he doesn’t sleep face down his head is always to the side so he can deffo breathe it just scared me in case he got stuck but i guess he will always cry out if he’s uncomfortable and can’t get himself sorted, he sleeps in such weird positions 🤣

It's fine if they get themselves in that position

This is very comforting to read, as I was looking for answers myself & my baby is the same. Im stressing myself and worried about SIDS. However, your comments and the others are true. I'm glad we all be open & honest to help each other x
