own room??

hey i’ll be moving to a 2 bed flat soon, just me and my baby girl who is 8 months old. i’m worlds not anxious person, so feel really worried about putting her in her own room after her being with me all this time🤣 what ages did you put your baby’s in their own room? if i hold off for a bit longer, will it cause any issues for her with sleeping in the long run? thank u xx

My baby is still in with us (in cot in our room) tried putting him in his own room at 7 months but he’d wake every 30 mins and my anxiety didn’t like it either so in he came and we all sleep better. Tbh I’m not sure he’ll ever leave, and I’m okay with that lol. Haven’t thought about what it could do in the future but I’m going to enjoy every night he’s in here until he’s not anymore x

We just moved house and thought it'd be a good time for him to go in his own room and he's taken to it absolutely fine. We still don't have internet so our camera isn't working but I check on him before bed and during wakes. He was waking 6+ times a night but he's now down to about 3 on average. I felt the same as you though, it's a bit of a scary time!

Mines in with me. When I get a spare room we seperate and it’s been grand on those nights.

My girls in with me in a big cot, id hate for her to be in her own room so for now she stays😂

We are planning on putting my little girl into her own room over Christmas. I would of done it sooner, but with me going back to working long days when she was 6 months, I felt like I needed to dedicate some time for it x

Moved him at 7 and a half months and has been great! Everyone sleeps better lol

I moved my little girl around 4months and she slept great as my partner kept waking her through the night x

Mine is with us. My mantra is to give him just the right amount of independence which he can break at any time. So he started with next to me bed, now he is in the cot in the corner of our room, I will lower the cot once he confidently pulls up, and I will move him in his own room once he will be able to walk and come himself to our room whenever he feels scared
