Milestones
I keep seeing g posts about July babies rolling, crawling, trying to say first words, sitting up etc and my son is no where near this!
He loves tummy time, is feeding well, laughing and smiling but has no interest in moving around, he is happy placed on his back on gym to play with toys or on his tummy etc but I put him into each position. Is there anything I should be doing to encourage him to move more? Or is it just a waiting game, 4 months 3 weeks old

Yours is still young, they start leaping through milestones very quickly from 5 months, give it another couple of weeks and you’ll notice a big change. Mine is 5 months and 4 days and I was thinking the same about your age! No rush though, I’m not pushing him m, he’s on his own timeline
No way a baby can say anything at 5 months ! They may babble and excited parents may think it’s a word but trust me it isn’t - don’t stress x
My baby just loves to be on his back or held. He’ll rock side to side but it’s not intentional, just falls when he lifts his legs. He has no interest in sitting, he won’t even go on his bouncer recently as he just wants to plank and have his body straight 🤷♀️

My LO is the same she loves playing with her feet and eating them 🤣 and rolling side to side but that's it. I'm not worrying it can take upto 6 months for these things to come. I just keep practising with her everyday. 😃
