Annoyed at nursery

I need a rant! My 1 year old goes to nursery for 5 hours on a Friday morning. She's been going since September and loves it. Never had any problems. Today they rang to say she had been sick so obviously we went to pick her up early, not a problem. Upon looking in the daily diary, it looks like they have been giving her lunch time milk.at 9.30! This has never been a thing. She has a morning bottle at home, lunch time bottle around 1 at nursery but today they've decided to give it at 9.30?? It also looks as though they've given her the milk just before her nap. My daughter doesn't feed to sleep. She goes to sleep by herself when in the right environment which nursery know so I don't know why today has been so different. When she first started at nursery we wrote down a schedule of her bottles/naps etc so not sure why they've deviated from that so much today. I am wondering if this change of routine has maybe made her vomit? Too much milk in such a short amount of time.🤔🤔 Not sure why I'm posting this - just wanted to rant!

I understand that must be frustrating for you and I agree too much milk may have made her vomit. Can you speak to them about this and ask an early bottle is not given in future

it’s possible, if she’s had her morning bottle and then soon after another bottle her lil tummy might not handled it well. please rant as much as you’d like cause i feel my nursery has also dropped in standard this week leading up to nursery so maybe they’re all tired and ready for their break 🥴 did you mention it to them?

@Cat @roula u haven't mentioned it yet as it was only when I read the diary once I'd got her home and settled. I will definitely mention it though so it doesn't happen again. Surely if its different staff they should be handed over when the babies need their milk etc

Did they mention a reason why they gave it early? It could be she wasn't settling and so they thought she was hungry. Babys routines change all the time and nursery staff have to constantly adapt to child's needs. It does sound like that was the reason for her vomiting, but they wouldn't have given a bottle if they thought she didn't need it. I understand the frustration though, we know our babies and if others do things differently it has a knock on effect for us parents later on. Hope she's okay and isn't poorly x

Could have been different staff in the room, and they may have been unsure of her routine, so 'did their best'. This is the season for illnesses also. X
