Christmas activities 🎅🏼

My little boy is well and truly in the festive spirit. Can’t get enough of Christmas 😆 We’ve been doing a few bits and pieces for Christmas, but I bet there’s lots of great stuff we haven’t done together yet!! Thought it might be nice to share ideas? A few we’ve been up to: - Christmas baking/cooking (biscuits, chocolate bark) - Christmas playdough tray - Christmas lights (walks around our village but also a couple of proper light trails) - Made cards, wrapping paper and decorations - Christmas colouring - Painted some air dry clay decorations for the tree - Made a gingerbread house What’s everyone else been doing at home that we could have a try at? Bonus points if it’s really easy 😂

Wow 😳 you're putting me to shame. We did breakfast with santa this morning. Got santa on a steam train this tomorrow. Light trail and santa next Wed I've got some gingerbread baking kits but I'm just not crafty. I envy the parents who are amazing at that sort of thing. I have craft stuff in but just rubbish and Oliver gets bored of it quickly unless in nursery with his pals haha xx

We “wrote” a letter to Santa, his list was “Spiderman, racing car and a helicopter” and decorated the envelope, also put some stickers/ cutouts inside the envelope for Santa:) I said I will post it on my way to work lol We also made Christmas tree decs from his toys by just tying a bit of thin ribbon to them, so all his Paw Patrol figures from kinder eggs and some smallest hot wheels cars are on the Christmas tree now 🙄

@Ruth This isn’t to make anyone feel bad! And we’ve been at it for weeeeks now 😅 Reuben has only recently really gotten into crafting and I’m so pleased because usually it gives me time to have a hot cuppa tea whilst he cracks on… assuming his brother isn’t being a pain in the bum!

Making some reindeer food (oats, chia seeds and some sprinkles), making fake snow, Christmas photoshoot (there is a cardboard box one that looks sweet) and letter to Santa 🙂

@Olga My little one has a tiny tree in his room that we’re yet to decorate- putting some of his small toys on it is genius! He’s going to love that!! thank you!

@Cherry Reindeer food!! Yes! I had totally forgotten about that. Thank you!!!

Christmas wraths are very easy to make with a paper plate my little loved making his

@Violet oooh yes- great shout. Thank you!

@Chloe oh I know it wasn't to make anyone feel bad, just totally envy you 🤣🤣 at least he plays more now , in to toys he wasn't bothered with last year xxx

Sooo jealous! Our Christmas activities have been on hold (thanks to work and illness) We’ve baked Christmas tree brownies, decorated Christmas decorations, played with magic snow! Made Christmas cards We’ve got breakfast with Santa and a light trail booked for next weekend

@Amy Christmas tree brownies sound delicious. I might make those with or without him 😂😂

@Chloe I’m a sucker for a good brownie 🤣 can neither confirm nor deny if I ate most of them HAHAHA!

Visit all the local garden centres! My 3 and 9yr old both love these trips over Christmas

We made Christmas wrapping paper. Parcel paper from post office and Christmas cookie cutters pushed into potatoes! We then used the wrapping paper to wrap presents from him to family x

@Charlotte this is what we did too ☺️
