Did you find induced//natural labour more painful?

For those who have experienced both an induced labour and a natural labour, what did you find more painful? My last pregnancy I was induced. The pain was so intense!! I ended up having a c section. For my next birth, I’d love to have a natural birth but I don’t want to be induced again. It was awful! Especially when nothing was even progressing. The next morning after having pessary out I was 4 cm and the pain from natural contractions was so much less than the pain I was having from induction at 1cm! Anyone else?

I went into labour naturally both times but the first time my baby had pooped in me so I needed to be put on the drip to progress quicker which is what they use to induce women, and the pain went from 0 to 100 so fast it was insane. I ended up with an epidural. Although when I was in labour the second time, I managed without pain relief until my waters broke then the pain again was quite intense so I had morpheme (no time for epidural as I was ready to push) Good luck!

I've heard from a lot of people that induced is a lot more painful. It's far more intense and they increase the drip so it's more intense to get your body doing it. My induced labour was awful and ended up with an epidural which I didn't want. Friend of mine has had 3 kids. Two natural and she said she could manage on gas and air fine. 3rd induced and she said it was definitely far worse and wishes she'd gone for the epidural

Induced 1000%

i found them about the same! but i only had the pessary, didn't need the drip or anything, so i'm sure that could be why!

I’ve only had induction (recently with my first) and it was something I wanted to avoid. As said above, I was so chill and the first two levels in the drip I was fine. When it went to level 4, it went from 0 to 100 and they were intense. I didn’t want an epidural and got through with gas and air, tens machine and then the pethedine injection.
