Are your babies walking yet?

So my son was born mid-November 2023, and he doesn't look anywhere near walking independently yet. He's been crawling since 6.5months, pulls on furniture and can walk around with support, including the pre walker toys that you push around. However it seems that he steps very gingerly, often has his toes scrunched, and goes on tiptoes quite often. Is this something to be concerned over? And if so, who would be able to consult or assist? My husband keeps dismissing this, but I'm beginning to be worried a bit.

Many babies dont walk until around 14 months, Health Visitors says 18 months to be concerned

Mine is the same he’s 13 months today 12 months corrected , he doesn’t stand unassisted yet but has great Control getting down from stood , I keep encouraging it he passes the ages and stages questionnaire have you looked at that ? X

Took his first steps at 11 months, hasn’t been bothered since!!x

My little boy has only just started properly crawling, doesn't look anywhere near wanting to walk yet. He was 6 weeks early though so I didn't expect him to be walking yet anyway x

Seems like he's doing all the right steps (excuse the pun) to be walking soon. Some like to explore their skills for longer. It's also a confidence thing of actually letting go and moving unaided.. must be quite nerve racking for them. It'll come don't worry xx

My boy end of November has no interest at all and can’t pull him self up yet either. He’s a bum shuffler the health visitor told me no concern until 18 months however bum shufflers can be closer to the age of 2. It is worrying when you see smaller/younger babies walking and standing but I guess they’ll just do it when they’re ready x

My little one has been walking a while but as mentioned many walk after one.

Walking a little bit with her walker / holding hands but only since 1 year old.

Tiptoes, scrunched toes and stepping gingerly all sound very normal, it sounds like he is well on track ❤️

My little boy has been walking since a week before 11 months (21st November birthday) but my friends little boy didn’t walk until 20 months and he’s just like any other child now running around xx
