@Kourtney Netter 🥹😊, thank you so much , i really appreciate that
Same! Due 20th still very pregnant. I have an appointment tomorrow if another doctor because mine is on holiday and I’m going to ask for a membrane sweep. I’ve done everything I can at home and nothing is happening so maybe it will help
I was induced 2 days early with my 2nd child bc I was so uncomfortable. He was 9 lbs, that's prob why, but everything went well. Best of luck!!
Get a membrane sweep
@Manuela 🥹, same ,, and i hope everything goes well with you ., maybe our babies will be christmas babies
@Jen thank you so much
@Cecilia i was thinking about that
I went into labor naturally the day I had a scheduled inducement. When I got to the hospital, they went forward with the inducement to expedite things and everything went super smooth! I was nervous too but check in to delivery took less than 12 hours for me and was a very positive experience
I was induced a day after my due date and it’s honestly not bad make sure your nurses communicate everything with you which most of them will there very nice an willing to explain what there doing before they do it the worst part for me as a first time mom was I went to 7cm without pain meds if you want meds make sure you get them if your induced before they do the foliey catheter
I would suggest FRESH pineapple and spicy food, you can also try sex and nipple stimulation by pumping or massaging nipples. But I’d definitely recommend a membrane sweep, I had one done and went into labor 3 days later.
@Courtney i hope this isnt tmi , but im tired of asking my man for sex ,, like i was basically begging 🤦🏽♀️, i did countless walks ,, so ill be trying pineapple
@Ashley wow ,, thank you
@rebecca ill ask my dr tomorrow ,, thank you for the help
@Deshawne do it yourself, you don’t need him. lol I ate like 2 pineapples a day and ate spicy food. And bounced on a yoga ball for the 3 days after my membrane sweep.

@Courtney 😂😂, i sure will try it .. thank you
Also I heard deep squats work too!
@Kourtney Netter induction is definitely a more intense labor. But it's not as scary as it is made to sound. I had an induction with my son which was my third. The contractions are stronger and there isn't much relief between once they really pick up. But you are correct as long as they administer slowly there is a build up rather than just bam horrible. It sounds like you have a good doctor!
@Courtney ill try it
@Brianne 🤦🏽♀️,, and your first kid came before or after the due date ?
@Deshawne 1st 40+5 naturally went into labor but they ruptured my water at 5.5 cm to help it progress 2nd 39+4 spontaneously ruptured water 3rd 39+4 induction pitocin started around 1-2 pm and he was born at 10:02 pm.
This is my 4th and I am 40+1 today. I was induced with my son due to gestational hypertension.
@Brianne oh wow ,, ok ., so hopefully mine will be here ,. Ill schedule an induction just in case
I had the same due date and decided to get induced. She came on the same day at 11:59pm lol It wasn’t a cake walk but would probably choose to do it the same way again! Happy to share more with you, if you’d like
@Lisa yes please , im very open to advice
Honestly girl you can do all that crap baby comes when baby wants. I’m 38 1/2 been doing all the exercises since 36 . My baby is so low they can feel his head but he’s yet to come . Due date is 1:01 but getting induced 12/27. My doctor assured me it’s not as bad as people make it seem and demonize it to be. As long as you have a good doctor that properly administers the meds slowly etc you’ll be good! 😊 I refuse to let ppl make me scared of induction
