The day she turned 6 months

Just before 6 months

I’ve just set the room up today ….. but have decided go keep her in with me for these last few days. She’s off to other nanny and grandad 27-31, so I’ll put her in her new room on the 31st. Even tho sleeps been challenging - I’ve a lump in my throat knowing it’s our last few days in the room together 🥹

6.5 months we moved her into her own room 😢 if I had room for the big cot in our room, she’d still be with us x

Honestly it will be once we move out of my parents so god knows😂

@Gemma my LO has just turned 8 months and is still in our room in his cot. We always had plans to put him in his own room after Christmas (just haven’t got round to sorting his nursery!) but have felt pressure that he should have been in his room way by now. I will definitely miss him when he goes into his own room after Xmas but I know it’s for the best for all of us x

A few days after she turned 7 months. It was the best decision for the both of us, she's slept so well and loves all the room in her big big cot to roll around 🥰

2/2.5 years

6month+1week There is no right time btw, I never felt ready but as someone has said above it was best for us all. She and us sleep so much better. I just miss her - a lot! But we also have a 9 year old (my partners daughter) and she didn’t sleep in her own room through the night until 7 because she co slept for many many years and it was painful so tbh we’ve gone hard in trying to get baby in her own room as soon as possible, for me this was after 6 months because of risk of SIDs so I wasn’t comfortable trying before. I’m a very light sleeper so can’t co sleep, but my friend still co sleeps with her 5 year old. It’s whatever is best for you and (if you have one) your relationship too x

I’m still hoping mine will sleep in his own bed let alone his own room 😂

I'm waiting till he outgrows his next to me

Exactly 6 months.
