It can be overwhelming. I also have a July baby and went back to wfh in september. Meal prepping is a great idea. I also have toys laid out for my baby and I keep rotating him so he doesn’t get bored. Like a bouncer, a little chair with toys, a play mat, etc. I take and make a lot of phone calls and got called out twice because my supervisor could hear my baby on the call. I dont want to pit my baby in daycare and cant afford it either. So I set up a play area in the living room with a camera.
@lindsey yes! I made protein pancakes and waffles for the mornings! Child care is me lol. I only have meeting with internal teams so im trying my best to get his nap times around the meeting times
@Celina im not customer facing anymore but i was in 2020 with my middle child and those noise canceling headsets saved me lol . Have you tried those?
It can be overwhelming. I have a customer service job so I’m on the phone 70% of the time so we got a part time nanny
@Bre yes I have the noise cancelling ones too
I feel for you! I have a July baby and I'm just getting ready to go back to work in January. Hang in there! I am trying to make some freezer meals in preparation. Instant coffee and protein pancakes in the microwave will be my best friends in the morning! As a side note, I feel like the corporate work environment has become more and more chaotic. Maybe that's part of what you're feeling? Are you comfortable with your child care situation?
