Haematoma

Hello had a scan today and I’m 6w 3 days. The lady asked if I’ve been having spotting (which I haven’t) and advised I may bleed as I have a haematoma on the top of my sac.. going back in 2 weeks to be rescanned which seems a life time away Has anyone else had this?

Mass on baby's lung

My anatomy scan showed a mass on my baby's lung. Went to have another anatomy scan with a specialist. The specialist confirmed the first result. I have to go back in 6 weeks to see if it is continuing to grow and if it is its own growth or attached to the lung itself. If it's growing or attached my baby will have to...

Scan

So I had my ‘12 week dating scan’ yesterday, only to find out I’m actually 16 weeks today so I guess that’s a due date of 24th July! Any advice on how to prepare for baby number two? I have a little boy who’s 15 months this month already x

Anatomy scan

My baby girl is measuring in the 95th percentile. I am 19 weeks pregnant and she is measuring 20 weeks. Is this something to be concerned about? My midwife said to me yesterday that it is something to watch. Anyone else experience this?

What would you do in my position??

Going to try to make a long story short but I’m feeling so anxious and could use your advice/opinions! (I see an NP at a women’s group for my pregnancy and get transferred to delivering doctor the last month of pregnancy) At 36 weeks my baby was transverse - confirmed with ultrasound, and my NP told me to tell the...

Pregnant after stillbirth (UK)

I had my baby girl (stillborn) in November at 34 weeks. I found out last week that I'm pregnant which is what we wanted. I was wondering if anyone is currently going through a pregnancy after stillbirth and if your care has been any different? I was hoping to request more scans and definitely wanted one before my 12...

Did anyone’s growth scan (32-38w) show an ABDOMINAL circumference larger than the head AND a large for gestational age baby?

Were you advised what were your chances of baby’s shoulders getting stuck?

Pelvic exams during first OB visit

Hi all, I have my first OB visit coming up soon and am a bag of nerves. I was told that this visit usually includes a full physical exam and might include a Pap smear. I had one last year and had normal results so I plan to refuse the Pap test. However, I’m not sure about the pelvic exam. I remember it had been quit...

Baby Ezryn Update

Ezryn is measuring in the 8th percentile and doctors are getting worried. He's only weighing 3.5lbs and is not expected to be any bigger than 5lbs. Now I get to have an ultrasound and NST twice a week until April 2nd. Plus twice a week chiropractor appointments to help with the 2 broken bones in my spine. Getting a...

Enlarged bladder/Fetal Megacystis

Unsure if this is too niche, but have any mums been made aware of this issue in their baby? I am 26 weeks and only at a private scan was this noticed. I am due for a private scan tomorrow to investigate over 40 minutes to see if the bladder drains, but would love to know if any mums have experienced this or their ba...

Male vs female sonographers

Anybody else found that female sonographers tend to make the scans a bit more special/less awkward and male ones are super quick and silent and just overall quite awkward!?

Low lying placenta

Has anyone had their 32-24 week scan to check the position of their placenta and they aren’t too sure of its more than the 2cm away? I had to have an internal scan as it looked like there was still a bit too low from an abdominal scan & from the internal one she said it looks about 3cm. I have no idea if 1cm is a bi...

Birth plan..

I’m 37 weeks and baby has had a growth spurt the last two scans. She is now not classified as SGA and doctors are saying it’s fine to have a natural birth if I want, as I can now go full term. I am so happy this is the case, but I’m more confused than ever now… I had it in my head I’d be having her earlier and via C...

99th Percentile

What's everyone's babies measuring on scans? My girl was measuring 9lb1oz yesterday (38+3) which is the 99th percentile 😯 safe to say I won't be needing any of the newborn sizes I have from my 1st 🙈
