Opinions?

My 3 year old daughter is in nursery, her nursery are very pushy on the kids being independent (3,4,5 year olds). Am I asking too much for my daughter to be supervised when going to the toilet? I’m not asking them to go in but maybe just walk past or stand outside the door to make sure she’s okay?

First time boy mama

Hey ladies! I am being induced tomorrow night to have my son, and i have been told by so many people to be ready to be peed on A LOT. Neither my boyfriend or i have any experience with baby boys, as our first two are girls. So any advice with diaper changes would be great, and what to expect 😅

Going to the dentist at 34 weeks pregnant

A few days ago I noticed and bit of my front tooth is chipped. I'm a little worried about what the dentist will need to do to fix it and whether it would be safe to have. Anybody had any similar experiences or know if there's anything I need to be worried about? Don't know what they'll need to do for a chipped tooth...

My newborn won’t poo in their nappy!

I’ve got into a situation where our baby won’t poo until I take their wet nappy off. So if they’ve had a wee I get a wet wipe and a poo will likely follow and it goes all over the changing mat. I have to hold their legs up and wait while they are done (it’s takes a while). It’s been over a week and I’ve not had one...

We’ve been potty training my nearly 3 year-old daughter for 6 months now and she hardly ever says she needs to go to the potty and on top of that she often is reluctant to go to the potty when we suggest she goes, resulting in ‘accidents’. We’re a bit loss what else to do. We have a chart and we celebrate the succes...

Taking shoes off

Is anyone else having trouble with their kids not keeping their shoes or socks on when they are out? We lost a shoe while he was in the buggy yesterday and I try really hard to teach him that when we are outside, shoes are on but he just keeps taking them off. Any advice or can anyone relate?

Day 2...

We are on day 2 of potty training. My son has yet to do anything in the potty... he's had wees on the floor and poos (we're going bare). I don't mind the accidents as we just clean them up. He started saying "oh no" when goes on the floor and I say don't worry, it's OK! Potty next time! He's starting to say wee pott...

Teething

My little boy is 4 months and I think he’s started teething? He’s started to scream like crazy really randomly, and then he’s fine a few mins later. Also has his hands in his mouth all the time and the amount of dribble is crazy! Is anyone else’s little one teething yet, and what teething gel do you use/find works...

How to tell when baby is teething?

How do you know when your baby is teething? My LB is 3 months tomorrow and tonight he keeps waking up after an hour or so of sleep screaming. The screaming sounds like his pain screaming, but I've only heard his pain screaming once, after his 2 month shots. I looked in his mouth and no signs of emerging teeth that I...

Toddler using public toilets

What do we do when our little ones need the toilet when they’re out and about? Are they able to use the public toilets as they’re big and it’s not the seat they’re used to at home?

Dribbling

I'm day 7 potty training with the twins and unless I prompt them, they usually dribble a wee bit before saying I need a pee and go to the toilet, is this normal and eventually they'll go before doing this? X

Potty Training Advice

Hi guys. With my LO we have done no bottoms for 2 weeks and she has been amazing, considering she is speech delayed and doesn’t speak yet, but with no bottoms she goes to the potty by herself and sometimes when she gets too indulged in playtime, you can see her straining and i get her on the potty straight away. No ...
