Teething

My little one was awake every hour last night and today has cried most of the day - his checks are very red and he’s been attached to me all day. I just can’t settle him, what’s the best teething stuff you have used?

Potty training #2

I have a 5 year old as of next month who is refusing to poop in the potty. He is GREAT peeing, only needs a pull up to poop. Nothing is helping. Dr is recommending miralax to forcefully get it out and put him on the toilet. Anyone else go through this? So worried .

Going places

Am I wrong that I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask if I want to go somewhere once my son’s father/bf is home. When I do ask ahead of time just so I don’t spring it on him it’s already like he has an attitude. The crazy part is I’m never gone for hours and it’s always something beneficial for the household not even ...

Limiting screen time

I feel like a terrible parent lately. Since my son was little he has always had screen time (the tv has always been on in the background etc) but lately it’s becoming a problem and I’m angry at myself for letting him have it too much. We bought him an iPad for Christmas to make our lives that little bit easier as he...

Eats too little

My little one is almost 8 months and we are having serious issues with him eating. He has recently, as in maybe the past week or so, refused to eat any solids at all. He will close his lips as tight as he can and refuse. As to formula, he also eats so little. The highest amount he has eaten in the past week has b...

Am I a bad mom?

I'm like 37 weeks pregnant and I have a 12 month old.. her diet consists of mostly pouches and baby snacks and I'm feeling really bad about it but she eats so much now not being on formula anymore. She eats at least 1 good solid food meal a day, usually dinner, but I'm also so worn out I can't be bothered to cook 3 ...

People in education - is this normal?

Anyone with knowledge in the education sector can you tell me if this is normal for reception aged children. My LB is starting in September and is going to an independent school. The school is quite academically focused. When I asked about sitting at desks/play based learning in reception they said it was around 6...

Leaving 5 yr relationship

For a very long time now I’ve been unhappy, I’ve fallen out of love, my partner always gives me the cold shoulder when I try to bond with him, I feel completely ignored, trying to connect with him and him ignoring me constantly causes me physical pain and stress my heart actuall...

Nursery funding

Hey ladies - I’m just filling in a form for my daughters nursery placement and I have to obviously put in the code I’ve gotten for her funding. The code I’ve gotten consists of letters and numbers but when I go to type it into the form it doesn’t even register the letters and only the numbers show up. So I’m now thi...

Can you wean too fast?

My boy has taken to weaning much better than I expected and within a month we could go onto 3 meals as he eats everything I put in front of him. He gets excited to eat and digests well - plenty of wet and dirty nappies , no difference to before weaning except slightly fewer poos (no constipation luckily!). No reflux...
