Does anyone’s LO just eat and eat and eat.

My girl had steamed greens and moussaka (lamb, potato, aubergine in) for dinner. I use some kefir plain yoghurt at times to make greens more creamy on taste (dip them in it). (Chopped kale, tenderstorm broccoli finger food, smashed peas etc) She just would eat and eat at times. Today some came up (she’s not bother...

Starting solids soon

My LO is 5 months and we are getting closer to complementary feeding, but I’m feeling so anxious, I have no idea how to do it, how many solid meals I have to give him? what time of the day? how I give him water? (I saw it’s not recommended to give water in his regular bottles), what food should I give him? how many ...

Rudeness

My stepson was really rude to me tonight. I asked him nicely what he would like for Christmas and he said a watch. I said you’ve already got a watch that we bought for your birthday. His response was it doesn’t fit properly. I’ve spent a lot of money on this watch it was the way said it and it just really upset my f...

She eats breakfast of porridge / Weetabix / fruit and then lunch she’ll have sandwiches or omelette or similar but anything else she just refuses to even try. Step children Vs your own for Christmas presents

Myself and my partner have a baby daughter and he has a 12 year old from a previous relationship. We have said we weren't going to spend much on baby for Christmas, but he has already spent over £200 on his other child. Is this just something I need to accept or should something be mentioned?

Feeling lonely and overwhelmed today, very tearful.

So I don’t even know why I’m here writing this as I know there’s no solution but I’m just so overwhelmed today and haven’t stopped crying. My partner is away with work this week and next. I’m a first time mum to a gorgeous boy of 6 months. He’s a Velcro baby which I kinda love but I literally can’t do a thing withou...

Milk alternative

Just found out, as my son turns 1, that he is intolerant to dairy, oat, coconut... among many many more 😭 I always suspected, but doctors dismissed all of his symptoms. I'm having major mum guilt right now for not pushing and giving him a regular cows milk formula for so long. Doctors won't prescribe him any milk…

Is anyone else’s child like this??

My little one is 2 in December and she’s so weird with food. If I cut fruit up and put it in a bowl or on a plate, she won’t eat it. If I put it in a small pot, sometimes she’ll eat it. However at her grandparents when they give her a small pot of fruit she eats it no problem. I was always told to show them when you...

Cleaning

My house is always clean, but as you know my clean and someone else’s clean may not always be the same. My future mother in law asked me to do a deep clean on her house before Thanksgiving. I’m shitting bricks. She wants woodwork , dusting, bathroom, etc. the whole nine yards. Just the downstairs. Does anyone have...

Anyone else not planning to use nursery?

I haven’t even thought about applying. I’m going back to work soon for 2 days a week and my mum doesn’t work so she’ll have her for the 2 days but everyone I know is talking about putting their LO in nursery or signing up for the year after (when they’re nearly 2) Does every single baby normally go nursery at 2?!
