My boy is still crying every day at drop off. He has been at the same nursery for 2 years now. He has gone through phases of being fine walking in, but this latest has been 6 months of screaming ‘don’t leave me’ and grabbing us and going completely crazy. When we pick him up he’s happy, has had a good day, he always...
Son will be turning 4, I’m not sure which balance bike size to get.
He’ll happily eat a whole weetabix with warm milk but refuses anything else. I always offer fruit and yogurt and sometimes some toast or a crumpet too but he just refuses anything else. I worry it’s not enough because same of my friend’s children, of the same age, eat LOADS for breakfast and when I compare I just ...
I’ve been with my husband for 10 years this is our first baby. I’m so upset with him! I don’t actually see how we are going to come through this now. As expected our lives have changed hugely. But I don’t like him anymore. He’s become lazy (or maybe he always was) he doesn’t help me with the baby, he only thinks o...
We're on holiday for a birthday that isn't happening til Thursday, with a party on Saturday. Toddler has lots of fun with everyone as she loves her family, but still keeps saying at least once or twice a day that she wants to go home, misses her toys and her other grandparents. We are a 5hr drive away from home.
So I know many of us are fiercely protective of our LO’s and not just anyone has the privilege of getting to spend time with them. Now my wife wants to take LO to see a family friend who I personally think is not a good person and at our baby shower called my wife a little bitch and we didn’t want her there anyway...
Just wondering where people go on a rainy day with baby? X (missing the sunshine already!)
My 2 year old has barely slept last night due to having a cough, meaning I've barely slept. I usually resort to going for a walk but it's pouring it down so can't do that. Any suggestions on some activities to do when absolutely exhausted but also something that would keep him entertained for a while?
I found a few childminders locally who are a good option but I’m a bit surprised by their contracts. 1) they take 6 weeks holidays a year and you still have to pay them but they reduce the daily rate by a third 2) don’t work bank holidays and you still have to pay 3) charge £15 a day extra if you use government fund...

My partner bores me. We had a baby last year. We haven't been on holiday for almost 2 years and he's reluctant to book one again. Weekends are spent doing the same walks. Nothing any differnt, fun or exciting. We have no one to help us childcare wise so date nights are off the limits. But he makes no effort to do an...

Your 3yr old hits you with a toy. Would it be a justified reaction to take that toy and throw it?
Looking for dinner ideas for my 5 year old. He won't eat veggies, pasta, meat, beans or rice.
My baby has always been able to play alone while I clean the house & he’s always been able to put himself to sleep at nap time. He recently was teething and they’ve come through now so as of the last week and a half he’s been all good in that aspect but ever since he teethed, I cannot leave the room or let him fall...
Anyone’s toddler in swim lessons? Last spring/summer we did swim lessons where I would go with her. So it was a parent included class. Last week she started her toddler class and I don’t go in the water with her anymore. Last week and tonight she has cried for me the whole 30 minutes of class and it’s so heartbreaki...
What early age is it ok to travel with a LO? Is 6-8 weeks too young for 6-8 hours flight especially if LO has not had some appointments yet
My two year old broke his leg and the doctor said he has to stay off it for 6 weeks it's been 5 days and he's already trying to get up and run around. We've tried sensory buckets and go on walks but he's not getting enough energy out any advice on what I can do to help him get some energy out while he's not aloud to...
Please no judgement as I feel guilty for even writing this and for feeling this way! I have 2 LB one 7 and one nearly 3 - 3 year old has chronic Eczema and allergies which are not under control by any means! We are under allergy and dermatology consultants but it’s like pulling teeth with them at the moment! He scre...
