It was my son’s birthday yesterday so my son, daughter, my husband and I went out to eat. We went to a steak house my husband was ordering for us because that’s what he usually does. But he ordered a kids meal steak for my son a rack of ribs for himself and a kids meal steak for me and he said he was going to share ...

Any tips on getting this to be improved? I’ve tried different foods, different location, smaller, bigger portions. I think it helps him at nursery becaus...

Sterilising

Are you still sterilising? I know the guidance is till 12 months but it seems silly when he is eating all this food and none of the cuterly or plates or sterilised. I know it’s to do with the milk but it just seems a bit pointless at this age!

Weaning

Hey I’ve never done something like this before but I’m just looking for some advice, my little boy will be 5 months next week and we’ve had to start giving him some porridge (blended oats and his milk) only sometimes if I have to push his bottles or if his last bottle is too early. Now I’ve been told ‘just give him ...

How to get LO to feed themselves?

My little boy refuses to feed himself. When we originally weaned we did a combination of purees and baby led weaning. He can feed himself snacks like baby crisps or biscuits, but when it comes to meals he just refuses to try with his hands or the fork or spoon. I'm reaching the end of my tether as it can take up to ...

Feeding the baby.

Does anyone still feed there baby themselves at 9 months rather than BLW. Baby point blank refuses to put a spoon or any type of food in her mouth (yes I’ve tried everything and will still continue to try until she hopefully does it). I just want to know if I’m the only one. Please no comments telling me what to do,...

I give food at similar times to nursery and same amount of milk as them to keep him in that routine but he just doesn’t seem as fussed about food at home. If he has more than ...

Picky Eater

I’m dealing with such strong Mom guilt! My two year old boy is the biggest picky eater. He literally likes only unhealthy stuff and I’m just at a loss! I don’t know what to do. He only weighs 29lbs. This is something that I usually make, or chicken nuggets. He will eat oatmeal and maybe plain pasta but that’s hit an...

Blw help

Hi there Wondered if anyone could reassure me that little one is doing ok. He's 8 months and we've been weaning since 6 months. I offer a mix of finger food and mashed food and let him feed himself, but I do sometimes help to get him started. He really isn't taking to it that well. Very little interest in food ( ex...

Anyone else’s baby not like fruit?

He won’t eat any fruit other than bananas. He’ll eat it in a smoothie or a pouch but doesn’t seem to like the texture of any fruit. I’ve tried taking the skin off, cutting it into different shapes, squishing etc but he just spits it out. Is anyone else’s baby like this? What do you do?

Grandparents feeding toddler with so many treats!

He eats like a horse when he's at his grandparents, but as well as regular meals he also gets so many treats! I try not to let it bother me because it's only every once in a little while. But today alone they gave him a packet of skips, a kinder chocolate snowman, a kipling french fancy cake, along with his meals ...
