Does your partner help with bathing baby?

Don’t know if I’m in this alone, my lo is 18 weeks old and my partner has never been involved in bathing her. He says he will but never gets around to it. He also doesn’t help much with the baby except play. I am exhausted everyday and I feel I need help sometimes.

Baby crying and straining during and after feeds

My newborn keeps crying and straining during and after a feed. We thought he maybe had colic and was struggling with wind so have been giving infacol. But now it seems every time I try to wind half way through a feed, he intensely cries and starts straining/growling. Is this discomfort? A sign he wants more feedin...

Hot Topic 🇺🇸

Doesn't the recent FDA halt on RSV vaccine trials make you question 💉 more? If you weren't aware, the trials were stopped because the infants in the vaccine group were becoming severely ill while the placebo group infants did not get sick or had only mild illness.

UK 🇬🇧 BCG Jab

My baby was offered the BCG jab because she’s half asian. The health visitor said that baby is more likely to need it if she’s around people who live in Asia who are more at risk of TB. I don’t plan to leave the UK and rarely see my family members. They visit Asia every year but I don’t think it’s reason enough to g...

SMA Althera and Nutramigen

Does anybody know the difference between the two? We’ve been given Nutramigen to try after having tried SMA. I don’t want to keep changing if there isn’t a massive difference between the two. My first had CMPA and was fine with SMA. Baby is 5 weeks and is still having issues. He’s also on Omeprazole for reflux...

Baths

Are we all bathing baby? If so, how often? Someone told me bathing them too much can get rid of their natural oils in their skin and can lead to things like eczema. But then others say they like to have a bath and bed routine etc. I was just wondering what the majority are doing? We did one bath at 2 weeks old wit...
