Are your babies walking yet?

So my son was born mid-November 2023, and he doesn't look anywhere near walking independently yet. He's been crawling since 6.5months, pulls on furniture and can walk around with support, including the pre walker toys that you push around. However it seems that he steps very gingerly, often has his toes scrunched, a...

Sensory toys

Can anyone recommend any sensory things to help my boy stop touching my hair🫠 He’s 3 and is obsessed with rubbing his hands in my hair and his younger cousins hair. He constantly comes over and pulls it or rubbing his hands in it & it drives me insane. I’ve explained to him that I don’t like it and to stop doing…

Always throwing/pushing toys

Our 11 month old never seems to play with toys as such. She either flips them upside down or just throws them, pushing them along the floor out of her way. Surely this can't be normal? She's always chewing them too or banging even against the floor.

Finger sucking

My LO is 6 months and has never taken a dummy, since 3 months he discovered his fingers and sucks on his 2 fingers to soothe himself, they’re constantly in his mouth, it’s how he self settles to go to sleep too. I feel like it’s ok as a baby but I’m terrified of him still doing it when he’s older and getting picked ...

Speech

My baby boy turned two today 🎉💕 He says some words but then doesn't seem to say some again. He is very physically capable it's just his speech. I'm hoping this next year he starts saying more and strings sentences etc. He will say random words like me, hi, bye, yes, ball etc but when trying new words he will just…

Is bar music too loud for baby?

I have a birthday brunch tomorrow for my best friend and my baby sitter fell through. I was just wondering if the noise will be too loud for my 5 month old. I haven’t been to this place before but I believe there might be a DJ.

Speech

My son's speech is fantastic (as in, he has a huge amount of vocabulary and understands everything). However, his pronunciation isn't the best and he has some words which he says consistently but don't sound anything like what they're meant to. I can understand the majority of what he says but then I'm with him most...
