Weaning

This might sound really silly but all the baby’s weaning bowls, cups, utensils should we be sterilising them or can we just hand wash?

Using WD-40 to get rid of sticky substance off bath

So I’m posting anonymously because I’m embarrassed. I didn’t see anything wrong with using WD-40 to clean off the sticky substance off my 7 months olds bath so I was sharing it with a friend and she advised me that that product is too toxic. My intention was to use product to get rid of the sticky substance , to p...

Does my baby need next car seat size?

Hi! My baby is in the infant carseat I got with the Britax Romer Strider M travel system. He is 6 months old now and is still under the weight limit for the car seat (13kg), but he has long legs & his legs are going up the seat so I think he needs a bigger car seat ? The only problem I’ve got is I don’t drive but am...

Head banging 🙈

Does anyone else’s little one bang their head? My boy is 14 months and started purposefully banging his head when he turned 1. It was mild at first and seemed to be his way of communicating he was unhappy (usually did it when I put him down or dropped him off at nursery). We put it down as a toddler tantrum and did ...

The Dummy.

Oh my God the bliming dummy!!😩 Has anyone else’s little one just not taken to it?! My little one is such a hungry baby, for her it’s almost like if there isn’t any milk coming out of it then she just isn’t taking it!🥴 But also I don’t think she has quite got the concept of what to do with it, if I try and give it…

Are baby wraps & carriers worth it?

I have a 3 yr old as well as a 4 week old. Obviously my 4 week old needs all the cuddles right now, my 3 year old understandably wants mummy to play with her & do things with her which I miss doing with her too. Are baby wraps and carriers worth it? I tried it with my baby and she was fussy but do I just keep persev...

3 year old does not stop talking. Ever!

Is anyone else experiencing this? I get that he’s inquisitive but the ‘why’s’ and the ‘what happens if’ are driving me up the wall. It’s making me feel overstimulated 24/7!

More bed rest or walk about during FET TWW?

So I was telling my husband during the TWW I prefer if we had activities like visiting Christmas markets etc so it can distract me from thinking about the TWW and time passing slowly, however he said maybe resting is better. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on this? I read right after the transfer one can eve...

Transitioning into own bedroom

So my little one is almost 6 months old (🥹) I am planning on beginning the transition from her next to me into her own bed in her own room. We have for the past month or so done nap times in her cot in her room to begin the process (unless of course we are out and about). I am just wondering if there’s any tips…

Are moms actually truthful about the struggles of motherhood?

Do you find that moms are actually truthful about how they’re doing/how their babies are doing? I feel like I’m always honest and open about how challenging motherhood and newborn life can be particularly with sleep, but the responses I get are apparently everyone else’s baby is sleeping through the night and they’r...

Balancing bottles and solids

I’ve read everywhere that I need to offer a bottle first and then solids. The issue is that my LB still feeds to sleep (we’re working on changing it slowly) so he doesn’t want a bottle when he wakes up. He will only drink maybe half the bottle and then I have to give him the other half at his nap time. I’ve tried ...

Anyone else’s 9m got really solid poos that it seems like are hurting them to pass? They look like bricks and he cried when he does it. Isn’t drinking barely any milk these days either so that isn’t helping!

11 month old suddenly won’t sleep in his cot at night
