Best baby proofing that won't damage cupboards

We can't have the magnetic ones on the inside as there's nowhere for the latch to stick BUT we've recently had new cupboards and I really don't want them damaged so what is the best for doors drawers?

Is anyone leaving their babies to self-settle during the night?

I leave my girl to settle herself if she wakes up from a nap early (like after 30 mins), and almost always she will go back to sleep after 10-15 minutes of whinging. I've recently started not rushing to get her if she wakes up in the night - she's been sleeping 10-11 hours with 0-1 wakes since she was 8 weeks old. A...

Baby has flat head!

Hi! My baby is 2 months old. He favors sleeping with his head turned to the right. He has a flat spot. The pediatrician said it’s not bad but we need to correct it by setting him down Facing the opposite way. Well I’ve done this and he still favors the right side. Any suggestions?

Anyone with recurring blocked duct actually managed to clear it and if so how?

For weeks now I keep getting swollen hard lumpy boob. I’ve been able to bring it back down with anti inflammatory and massage combo but it keeps coming back and it’s driving me mad. I’ve got a little white bit on my nipple, I’m guessing where the blockage is. The advice online seems to be so contradictory - leave it...

Pressure to circumcise

I am getting so much pressure to circumcise my son from female family members. My biggest issue with making this decision for my son is that I don’t even have the genitalia to make an accurate judgement of what life is like with or without circumcision. The men in my life say it doesn’t matter but God forbid I discu...

Walking

Is anyone else’s baby not waking yet? My little one is so keen to walk, he will walk around furniture, hold your hands and walk, plus will use his walker. He just won’t stand independently Has anyone got any ideas on how to support this development? He’s 13 months but was born 3 weeks early. Just so much pressure ...

Negative comments

How do you deal with opinions and negative comments? My MIL told me I was being ridiculous because I want to try giving birth without an epidural. She kept saying I have no experience and I should listen to her about how painful it is. I was actually looking forward to labour but now I feel nervous in case I need an...

Weight loss when BF

I've been debating going back to slimming world but read online that losing weight can affect breast milk supply. Whenever I've done it in the past I've lost a fair bit in the first week. Any advice?

Pumping - help

Photo so we don’t get lost!! I am 6 weeks pp, and I have not pumped unless my LO is getting a bottle from my husband before bed for bonding. My LC recommended I start pumping the opposite breast after baby feeds because he only nurses on one side per feed. Or else she is afraid I might lose my supply when the 12...

Co sleeping

Hey yall, lately I’ve been seeing so much moms shaming others for co sleeping. Everyone will have their own opinions but I did it with both my babies and it worked great for us. I understand it’s not everyone’s preference but most of the women arguing about it in the tiktok comments and any social media don’t care a...

Is it pregnancy hormones or depression?

I'm already a mother of one toddler (recently 3yo) and am expecting again in the next 2 months. I'm a SAHM and I've noticed I feel a bit 'off' - like I have a lot less patience and am more easily irritated by some of their behaviour. They are not unmanageable but I'm finding there's a little more generalised limit t...

Breast milk - fridge to freezer

Can i move breast milk that’s been in the fridge for a couple of days into the freezer if i don’t think we’ll use them by the ‘6 days in the fridge’ rule? Or do they have to be in the freezer from the get go? I don’t want to chuck them but equally not sure we’ll use them all up in time. Thanks!
