My lo has two naps, 3 hours max all together. He goes to bed 7-7.30pm and falls asleep with no issues. Occasionally, he will need extra cuddle. He would wake up twice during the night for comfort. The last two nights he's been wide awake for two hours ish, between 2am and 4am. He's looks around the room or cries or ...
Oh guys, the guilt I am feeling. I’ve always thought I was a pretty good mum. I have a 2.5 y/o daughter and she and I have been peas in a pod since the beginning. I get her, we cooperate and communicate, and I go to a lot of effort to give her good experiences, to make her feel understood and respected and listened...
Started feeling like I didn’t have enough breast milk for my LB lately so introduced more formula. He’s now starting to show signs of rejecting breastfeeding. He will cry at the breast and unlatch himself and then refuse to latch back on and cry lots. Has anyone else had this experience and know how to improve thing...
Since birth, I feel like I’m forcing my baby to feed to gain weight and I’m now very tired and anxious at the same time. He is breastfed and doesn’t like bottles, and during the day he is impossible to feed! He could go for 6h without eating and being very content. It’s so stressful for me as he dropped in percentil...
My LO is 15 weeks & before now she was doing almost through the night, with 1 feed. Now she is waking every 3 hours wanting to be fed! Any ideas?
Last night my 12 week old, who normally goes to bed around 7.30pm, was really unsettled and didn’t sleep until 8.15pm but then woke up at 8.45pm and then continued to scream hysterically until 1.30am, when she fell asleep and slept until 7am. Nothing I did consoled her I’ve never known her to do anything like this ...
Hello, has anyone else had nappies leaking at the back? I'm sure I'm putting them on tightly enough but I've tried a couple of brands and keep having leaks up his back. Has anyone else experienced this and what am I doing wrong?
I’ve always used Aldi nappies and never had a problem however, I recently introduced a bottle of formula before bed. Ever since I did this, baby is always soaking wet by early hours of the morning. She’s not the best sleeper so having to do a full outfit and bedding change is really disrupting her. I very reluctant...
Her high chair was close to this and she's chewed the end off one of these leafs... will she be okay? Do i need to get it checked out?
My 3 day old son is so fussy tonight and barely pooping little to nothing, he is combo fed and tonight is very hard to soothe him or get him to sleep could it be constipation, he has a doctors appointment today
Baby current has tonsillitis which is horrible but has been on antibiotics for a few days now so is definitely more himself. He's able to drink water and eat limited solids but is completely off his milk. If he does end up having milk, he then projectile vomits it back up within seconds. Everything else managed to s...
If not I would be grateful for any advice on how your child got used to it and if anything else is offered now so they don’t wake up hungry?
Curious to know as my friend & I have both approached parenting differently. Neither way is 'right' or 'wrong'. Examples; 'Fit in with my life' - Taking your child out knowing that they'll be out during their naptime/bedtime. 'I adapt to theirs' - Schedualing my plans do they are around nap/bedtimes. If I'm aware ...
First off I know this is sounds dark but there’s no need to worry because I can’t do anything. I think of my child growing up without me and I just can’t. But I just want to die. I’m so tired. I hated my childhood. I hate every aspect of my life and sometimes myself. I have no friends anymore. I thought I made a goo...
Just have just realised my moisturiser has a very small amount of topical retinol- I have facials and my skin specialist said a small amount of topical won’t do any harm but I’ve been googling and as always Google recommends avoiding although most of the research into birth defects surrounds oral Vitamin A. What ar...
My little girl is currently 18 days old and normally wakes every 2/3 hours for feeding, but I’ve noticed the last few nights she’s refusing to wake up for a feed in the night and spits the milk out.. we was recommended not to let her go 4 hours without feeding, but it’s now 5 and a half hours and she just won’t have...
Has anyone come out the other side of the 14 month sleep regression yet 🫠 how long did it last? Losing the will to live over here
I’m considering ditching the dummy in the new year, it’s becoming a problem whereby she’s constantly searching for it then ends up spitting it out and it’s a continuous cycle. I know she can fall asleep without it, she does in the car but it’s the naps in the house I’d find difficult to remove it. Any hints and tips?
Baby used to sleep really well through the night but the last few weeks she’s waking every 2/3 hours and wanting to feed and drinking a lot (combi fed). She is just over 5 months - is anyone experiencing similar, not sure if sleep regression still?! Any advice welcomed 🙏🏼 😴
Are any of you in a daily routine yet? We’ve mastered night time. My LO (8 weeks) will go to sleep around 7:30 and won’t wake until around 4:30/5am but during the day we have no sleep routine whatsoever.. At the minute he falls asleep when he wants and then we just put him in his crib, and if we’re out and about he ...
