Decisions on birth plans

Hi everyone, I am going to be induced on 39 weeks (currently 37 weeks) due to having a big baby. Baby has been consistent on 97th percentile (tbh I don’t understand it all as I am a first time mum). They gave me the option to be induced or C-Section. They spoke to me about the risk of shoulder dystocia and I’ve b...

Delayed induction anyone?

Hi, has anyone had an induction booked in but been called up on the day and told not to come in yet as they’re too busy. How long did you end up waiting for? I was mentally prepared but now feel the anxiety of waiting for a call at any time. Really hoping they definitely call me in for today!

41 weeks today.

Trying for a VBAC but baby doesn’t seem to want to budge. 41 weeks today. I have a c-section booked for Wednesday & I can’t help but feel like I’m giving up? My last baby was 10lbs at 39 weeks and this one is looking similar. I don’t know what to do!

Circumcision Care

If any of you have had a boy before and gotten them circumcised, how long do you use the gauze and petroleum jelly? I’m 11 days postpartum and it’s been 9 days since my son was circumcised. Not interested in a debate on opinions about the procedure. Just asking about aftercare.

My mother and sister keep telling me t not to as apparently it’s worse? a...

It feels like she’s going to break through the sack and high five me down there and although it’s been incredibly painful, I’m hoping it won’t break? Or will it lol Happens the most when I’m lying down for bed
