Mucus plug lost around 3 days ago - now bad pains in my flower, bum and bottom of stomach???? How do you know when to go hospital?
Hello ❤️ I wondered whether anyone on here has had an elective at St Thomas - London. I am 36 weeks today, and have been booked in for a virtual pre-assessment tomorrow. I just wondered if anyone has had one of these so I know what to expect (was surprised virtual owing to the need for swabs etc but can only assume ...
I’m due to give birth at Stoke in Feb, but made the mistake of reading the hospital report as the maternity care is rated as ‘requires improvement’. It’s got me worried and I’m wondering if I can / should switch to another hospital. Has anyone else switched? Any good / bad experiences at Stoke M or Milton Keynes?
Should I be worried? I know estimates can be off, but is this baby going to destroy my pelvic floor? Should I be asking about a potential elective c section? Is it too late? For context, both my partner and I are small to average heights and weights. So this giant baby is particularly worrying. Should I ask to be t...
I have my consultant appointment on Wednesday as I’m electing for a c section, what questions should I be asking?? X
How long are you taking?
Anyone had their waters break naturally? I woke up this morning with a light gush of fluid and my bump feels really squished. I’m being seen at my local hospital at 3:30pm. What’s the protocol if my waters have gone? I’m so in the dark about this
Currently 41+1 and still waiting for my LG. Is anyone still waiting for spontaneous labour. The uncertainty is making me so anxious. I want to meet her so bad but I’m trying to avoid any intervention as I did intervene with my first and ended up with an emergency c section. Looking for positive stories and others on...
Has anyone has a vaginal birth after having a c section? I’m due with my second in February and I was to have a natural birth but also want to be a realistic about having another c section if needed!
I’m about to give birth to my little one and so ever grateful. But with their c section has anyone ever asked to be sterilised or thinking about it at the same time ? I’m 42 already and don’t think I could go through pregnancy again
Hi all Just wondering if anyone has been through anything similar. I have identail twins sharing a placenta. My waters broke 24 hours ago but so far no signs of contractions or infection, currently in hospital being monitored. It’s a scary time as it’s so early and they are very small. Just wondering if anyone has...
11 days till my elective c section. Could you please share some positive stories. Also anything to look out for? Thankyou xxxx
I’ve been getting my colostrum for about a week now and keep waiting for this solid yellow colour I’ve seen photos of. Does it matter if it’s just a cloudy whiteish?
Did this happen to anyone with any of their pregnancies? This is my second. I had an emergency c- section with my first, so opted for a scheduled c-section for this one at 39 weeks. I'm 37+5 and started having contractions at 37+3. My doctor said if I went into labor early, they can still do a c-section. I'm wonder...
Just wondering if anyone had the balloon method for induction and what was your experience with it?
I'm trying to get into weight loss after a c section and I want to know how to get rid of the overhang pooch that is common after a c sec? How to get a flat stomach again after having the scar and little poochy belly basically
Last night I had a lot of gushes of clear odourless fluid that I couldn’t control just kept trickling/gushing but no contractions just pressure and dull ache. It then stopped… I went to the hospital to be assessed and the swab came back with no signs of my waters breaking or my cervix dilating. It definitely w...
Hey! My first bub was born via c-section (unwanted) after labouring naturally for 54hrs and getting to 7cm but declared to have a small pelvis as bub was large, sunny side up, and wouldn't engage through the pelvis. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and was able to achieve a VBAC in their next birth...
Would you go to the hospital if you’re experiencing contractions that aren’t very consistent but are about 12 minutes apart while being 4cm dilated at 39w&2D. Feeling a lot of pressure in my pelvis, had a bloody show and sharp pains and pressure in buttocks & extreme back pain. I was in the hospital last night but w...
