That there is no signs of labor and that it looks like my baby does not want to come out. But let me tell you Iāve had contractions all day yesterday and all night and I could not get any rest. They seem to start getting little stronger. They have no pattern yet but are really lasting a minute long. š
If the baby is born at a normal weight, but still before 37 weeks, is it considered premature? (even if the child measures, for example, 39 weeks)
Are there any recommendations for post surgery or recovery underwear please?
Started having mild contractions at 8pm which carried on until 2am, they were anything between 5 minutes apart to an hour. Iām hoping it means Iāll go into labour soon or is that wishful thinking lol
Anyone got any tips on preparing your body for birth from early on? Iām only 14 weeks and have been SUFFERING from sickness and exhaustion up until recently. Now that I feel alive again, I want to begin to better myself before giving birth. Iāve already been doing kegal exercises to strengthen my pelvic floor but an...
Hello all! Iām hoping to hear your reasons/experienceās for induction! They want to induce me but Iām just not understanding why when my baby is perfectly healthy and strong apart from his arms and legs being short so Iām feeling conflicted as to why I should and any benefit of it.
Does anyone have a positive birth story to share about having an elective C Section at St Helier hospital?
Going to take a look on Amazon today as itās prime day to get anything else I may need. Oh Thursday Iāll find out if I need a C-section or not. Will sprits for bits still be good to have even if I have C-section? Also, what are these Peri bottles I keep seeing š Any advice on what to pack if I do need a C-sectionā¦
Tomorrow marks 39 weeks of pregnancy, and Iāve just learned that Iāll need a C-section with my first child because sheās breech. This is the exact opposite of everything I had envisioned. I planned an unmedicated birth at a birthing center, surrounded by my midwives and doula. While I am deeply grateful to have acce...
Waters broke at 9pm yesterday. Confirmed at the hospital that it was my waters. Iām 37+4 weeks and this is my second baby. Contractions are coming roughly every 8 minutes depending on whether Iām standing or sitting. I canāt remember when I need to actually go to the hospital š
October 5th at 1:06 am I gave birth to my little princess. I was induced on Thursday midnight and had her Saturday in the wee early hours. They started me off on certotec and a ballon catheter and then put me on pitocin to fully dilate. I went from 1cm to 4cm after balloon then 5 to 6 then 8 to 10! This was a very u...
And itās happened! I was meant to have a c-section this Monday at noon, drove to hospital to after an hour wait be sent home as they were too busy. I have been high risk pregnancy but now they only consider me an elective C-section for whatever reason. I just feel I am an extra for the day and will keep moving my ...
Hi all, for those of us that had c-sections and had to do the blood thinning injections at home! Where did you dispose of the left over injections/sharps bin?? Mine is just sat in the cupboard but no idea what to do with them??
Baby's growth has slowed down. 35 + 4 today and she weighs 5lb, 3 oz. My MFM wants induced at 37 weeks, I got to the Ob/gyn on Wednesday, and I'm assuming we will schedule then. Anyone else dealing with this issue? So worried, anxious, excited, etc... mind is going crazy!
Has anyone had gel induction and what was your experience? how far along was you? was your dilated or not?
I just went in for reduce movements, whilst being monitored, my uterus movement/contractions were going up very regularly. Before the midwife left she said the line should pretty much stay flat, after monitoring for 45 minutes you can see it would massively increase every few minutes and I could feel a pressure when...
Second time mamas!! Its looking highly likely that i will be having a C Section for my birth as my placenta is only 0.5cm away from my cervix, i was hoping it would have shifted a bit, they are doing another scan in 4 weeks but i doubt it will move another 2cm by then What do you put in a hospital bag for a sectio...
