What is everyone giving their baby for their first food?
Let’s see what solids those babies are eating ! I need more ideas. My son loves food and we usually do an egg, a puree of fruit and vegetables and yogurt for breakfast.
I have my 7 month old in a very good routine. Wake up at 8am breakfast and bottle, 12pm lunch and bottle, 5pm dinner and bottle, 8pm bath bottle and bed. My baby’s dad is only allowed to see my daughter in a supervised contact centre. He has contact at 1pm which takes me nearly 2 hours to get to, and him only half...
What fruit juices are you giving to your little ones? Hoping for suggestions for something not too high in sugar but also easy to purchase in supermarkets?
Anyone else's LO not eating much and suddenly not eating a lot of their favourite foods anymore? He just doesn't seem all that interested in food but used to be such a foodie!
We do/did a mix of spoonfeeds and BLW and at the min my girly is eating really well but 80% is me spoonfeeding her- weetabix, yoghurt, pasta, rice, curry etc. She feeds herself fruit, pancake, toast etc but not too much. But I feel so behind with her feeding herself and eating meals with multiple elements. Like I wi...
We're going to Disneyland soon and I need ideas on snacks to take for my little one! We don't really buy that many pre packed snacks because she tends to snack mostly on fruit and is hit and miss with toddler snacks but I really wanna have some back up options. Which ones do your little ones actually like? Thankyou 😊
My 7 month old just refuses solids. I’m not doing BLW just purées, she’ll eat anything sweet but not the savoury! Any suggestions?
Is there anyone else LO experiencing difficulty in bringing food to their mouth? My son seems to have a bit of difficulty in grasping the food. When he finally manages to do so, it seems like he takes quite a while to get the food into his mouth or misses it entirely. Is this something I should be concerned about?...
Toddler surviving off of yogurt and berries? 😅
My lo has started to randomly request a snack during the night, I give her the same thing each time-an oat bar and she goes back to sleep pretty much straight away. It doesn’t happen every night just a couple times a week and only once per night.
My family is semi-crunchy and we honestly have a tight grocery budget. My daughter just turned 2 and is in the 3rd percentile for weight so I’m looking for ideas that are affordable, nutritious, and actually taste good/ kid-approved. I’m also trying to get my husband to eat a little cleaner as he’s a huge snacker.
Baby led weaning is overwhelming. I just saw a video where her mom fed her baby ravioli, strawberries, and purées. I don't understand why we're pushing babies to eat so much right now when breastmilk or formula should be their main source of nutrition and why do I feel insane amount of pressure to do this? I want hi...
my son is almost 20 months and for the past 6 months he has been refusing to eat anything and everything. i’m concerned because he only eats the same 4 foods, which are: •french fries •waffles •sausages •bananas i used to give him all kinds of foods, fruits and veggies since he was 6 months old, but i do work a lot...
Hi mamas! I need advices ! 🥘 🥙 🍽️ my boy is in the blw learning process and he is starting daycare. This means that he will start eating food that I did not make at home and sometimes is store-bought. He turned 8 months old today so I'm wondering, is it too early to expose him to food that contains spices…
My baby turns 1 in 2 weeks and she still won’t eat any finger food or put any food in her mouth herself or hold her own bottle or drink water. I’m so fed up. I’m sick of every meal having to be cooked food and fed to her. I batch cook to save me cooking 3 times a day but I’m just so fed up. Yes I do all the obvious ...
Hey! How are you weaning your little ones? I started weaning my girl at around 5 months with purées and now we are on mashed foods but sometimes she really struggles even with things like mashed carrot and gags/chokes to the point she throws up. She’s fine with things like mashed banana or parsnip. I tried her w...
How long do you feed solids to tiir little one? My girl is 7 months and doesn’t like to war. I spend 30 minutes to an hour to feed her each meal with no actual success! Is it too long?
Currently at 28 weeks, thinking I need to be consuming meals more frequently as I am getting quite full and uncomfortable. Does anyone have any good snack ideas? I have no idea how to divide my meals by 3-5 as I dont have a huge appetite
