Honey

Is it definitely okay to let our little ones now that they're 1 have honey? I know it says you can on the NHS but I'm still worried. Am I worrying about nothing? Only reason I ask is because we have meatballs for dinner and they have honey in. I was going to cook her the same as us but debating whether to cook her s...

Nearly 13 month old eating very little

Anyone else experiencing this? He will literally only have a few bites of his meals and not bothered about snacks. He also refuses to pick up fruit no matter what I try. He will eat it when itā€™s mixed into his breakfast or yoghurt. I thought toddlers were meant to love fruit!

Cutlery

My LB is like my fork now rather than his spoon. What type of cutlery shall I get him metal or plastic? He has a silicone fork but itā€™s useless and picks nothing up

Weaning

My baby is 5.5 months old and we tried him on baby porridge for the first time this morning. Would it be possible for us to puree some sweet potato for him tonight for dinner followed by a bottle, or is it too soon?

Hi Mamas, please can you share your go to meals/recipes for your 1 year olds?? Food

Anyoneā€™s little one decided to become really fussy. Weā€™ve always been lucky that he always had what weā€™ve had and always loved it. Now he has decided to go off all that. Veggiesā€¦ what are they. Unless I hide them really well, he refuses them. Used to love things like curries but now doesnā€™t want them

Really struggling to get my 14m old to eat.

Iā€™ve tried so many different ways to get him to eat solids & proper meals. Thereā€™s a few things he will eat but even those things heā€™s starting to throw on the floor. Iā€™ve tried serving him lots of different foods & I always keep a safe food on his plate too. Lately it feels heā€™s having more snacks than proper m...

Do you try food with baby at the same time?

I always do around lunch time but sometimes it's like 11:30 am the next it's 3pm because of her naps or other things... Feel like I'm all over the place!

Is anyone else still losing the will with weaning?

11 months, so been at it for 5.5 months. Not much further on. Baby feeds self pieces of fruit or things like toast or crumpet, and is usually happily spoon fed (wont feed self with spoon) porridge or yoghurt and fruit or smooth pouch, but other than that, really not eating much ā€˜betterā€™. Now refuses all veg, anythin...

Any one else sick of ā€˜clever buggersā€™?!

My little boy is a terrible sleeper and a terrible eater. Honestly, I know Iā€™m a great mum and I have done so much research into sleep and spent SO much time and energy making healthy nutritious meals (and still do continue to do so in case one day something clicks and he eats healthy stuff!) But Iā€™m in the situati...

Is it okay/normal for my baby to have near to no appetite in the morning? I donā€™t want to create a bad association with food but I feel like I have to try and get something down himā€¦ Iā€™ve recently stopped giving the 10pm dream feed and now my baby is sleeping through where as they would have 10pm feed and 4 am feed...
