We have started trying to transition away from bottles. We have tried 2 types of the dr. Brown bottles to transition one is like a sippy cup top and the other is a straw; she's doesn't really like the straw one though. Any recommendations for other bottles to try. I have attached photos (in comments) of regular sipp...

Bottles!

When making formula how many people use cool boiled water? My son is almost 10 months so now drinks tap water during the day(I stopped using cool boiled) but I have just moved him onto formula because of supply issues, and have been using cool boiled water to make. I’ve just realised that surely it doesn’t matter...

Rusk/Cereals in Bottles

Guys, please can everyone give me their opinion on the above.. I just had a big argument with my partner over it. He told me to put a bit of rusk in her bottle (his mum use to do it with him and his siblings) As far as I’ve known, they’re more commonly known as knock out bottles - to make them sleep through the n...

How much and how often did you feed your baby at 3 months? I never know if he’s getting enough or being overfed! He was doing fine for awhile with 5OZ every four hours… I just don’t know.

Started wanting smaller feeds more frequently?

My little one is 10 weeks and was taking 6oz every 3.5/4 hours and we had a few chunks of 6/7 hours at night. But now he’s back to wanting milk every 2.5/3 hours but messing around after a couple ounces. He will sometimes scream through the first couple ounces too even if I wind or slow pace etc.

Formula feeding guilt

Hi everyone, I had some trouble with latching early on and moved to pumping and giving breast milk in a bottle- pumping then took its toll on my mental health. We moved to formula around 4 weeks and I instantly felt better and baby is well fed, happy and in the 75th percentile for weight. My husband this week has st...

Baby refusing milk

My 10 month old has been ill for 2 days now. She is refusing formula. She eats some solids but very little liquid. Does anyone have tips I can use to sneak in more hydration. Her wet diapers have reduced and I'm worried. I've just made some formula popsicles and waiting for them to freeze.

How much formula is your baby having and how frequent?

Mine is 4 weeks tomorrow and he has 4oz or very close to every few hours I fear I over feed him (even tho I only feed when shown hunger cues or he scream cry’s which usually means he’s hungry) I assumed he wouldn’t feed if he wasn’t hungry, apparently this isn’t always the case as they also feed for comfort. I worry...
