Constantly talking and back chat

I know it's obviously completely normal for a 3 year old to chat away. But anybody else finding it to be CONSTANT and non stop? It's the back chat that comes with it too?! Example 1. Freddie knows I can log into his nursery app to check on his day. So when I asked him the other day 'what did you have to eat today?' ...

Fussy phase?!

My little one is really hard work recently 😩 I feel like he cries and gets frustrated from the minute I’m home from work until the minute he goes to bed. He’s pointing to things but then throwing them instantly when we pass them to him, throwing food then crying, really destructive and breaking and throwing…

Hitting at nursery

Most days when I pick my girl up from nursery I’m told she has tried to hit someone or bite or push etc. When it happens, they explain to her it’s not okay and talk to her about it but it’s getting to a point where it’s now a daily occurrence. They’ve brought her into the office before after a bad bite and she jus...

I'm struggling with my 3 year olds behaviour

My 3 year old little boy has a tendency to be rather naughty and can be very nasty to his 2 year old brother. He can be very aggressive towards him and throws things, hits, kicks, drags him around by his top etc. We're not sure where he's seen any of that behaviour before and nursery are adamant he is not picking it...

Walking on tip toes

Hi mamas, my 2 year old walks on tiptoes and even in shoes too. What could this possibly mean? When she just started walking she would do the same thing and the doctor told us not to worry about it. She said all kids do this when they’re just learning to walk. But it’s been a year now and she does it sometimes. We h...

Anyone still at 0 words? Are you worried?

My son has zero words. I am somewhat worried tbh. I try to look at his other strengths to console myself, like excellent gross motor skills, also he understands some things we say to him, he's very sociable, he does babble (though not too frequently), uses some gestures to get our attention (however he doesn't reall...

Listening

How do you get your 3 year old to listen to you? I am getting tired of having to repeat myself or ask the same thing 5 times to be completely ignored and I get so frustrated that I shout to then be told "you're shouting is making me sad" to which my reply is I have asked nicely 5 times and I'm now frustrated. Bear...

Advice Needed: My 9-Month-Old Isn't Crawling Yet, and It's Breaking My Heart

Hi mamas, I'm reaching out today because I could really use some advice and support. My 9-month-old daughter is not crawling yet, and I’m starting to feel a little anxious about it. At her recent pediatrician visit, her doctor recommended we do some exercises to encourage her to start moving, but every time we try,...

Shoes 😫

Omg our boy will not wear shoes! He's confidently walking outside now (in booties still 🙈) so we definitely need some but he is absolutely hysterical any time a shoe even goes near his foot! He screamed Clarks down when we took him to get measured. You'd have thought he was getting his foot chopped off 😅 We've…

When do they learn fear?

Hi my son doesn’t have any fear! He climbs on things and just chucks himself off and even if he gets upset he’ll try and do it again. We were at a soft play and he wanted to go down a big slide I tried to get him on my knee but settled for holding hands. He went all over the place but found it funny. He went chargin...

Temper Tantrums

My LO has episodes of screaming ferociously and clenching his fists. Sometimes it’s in context, in that he’s getting tired or hungry. Often, I can’t find the source of his frustrations. The scream is very loud and shrill. Get that temper tantrums are par for the course in toddlers, but is he still a bit young to be ...

Biting?

Is it normal for my 8 month old to crawl over to me stuff his head into me and then bite me? He bites me all the time and sometimes it really hurts especially if sat on the floor with him, he has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth and he seems to find it funny but it kills!!! 🤣😭

Biting at nursery

Would you be ok with staff at nursery having a “stern” word with your child abbot biting followed by time out. I am not saying it’s wrong - I don’t know how to feel tbh so reaching out to ask what other Mums would feel. Please be kind with answers im just curious. And I am aware of the other parties feelings. Thanks.

2 year old and 3.5 year old

Omg, my toddlers are honestly testing my will to live daily. I feel like pulling my hair out constantly! Bring me back to a toddler and newborn stage! I love those munchkins to bits, but, goodness gracious, how do/did you stay sane when it feels like mission impossible? That's it. That's the post. Thank you!

Crying

A bit of a weird question, My little boy is 8 months tomorrow and when he cries he doesn’t cry any tears. When our little girl was his age she was definitely crying tears haha. Is anyone else’s baby the same?
