Okay so I’m gunna try to make this short. I applied months ago but my fiance makes too much, we’ve been told to apply again without him since we have 3 kids together and struggle sometimes even with food banks. I’m wondering how to go about the application if I have no income and we’re not gunna use him? Do I sa...
I think there is this idea given to women that when our kids go to school we can now just re enter the work force (if we left) and it’s all good because no need for child care now. My answer is no. Will they go to school Monday to Friday 9-3? They are meant to but they might start them off rotating days and one of t...
Can someone give me straight answer of when I have to give my employer the form please? Thank youuuu
Tell me what your current job is, or what you’re going to school for, and what your dream job is! I’m currently a Chef at the Med Center! Next semester I’m going to go back to school for radiology. My dream job however is to be a vet, however that ship has kinda sailed since the amount of time & money for vet schoo...
My partner is due to go back to work after 3 months paternity leave, meaning I’ll be going it alone mostly during the day. I’m feeling incredibly anxious and worried about it. Will I be able to cope? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 💖

Hey everyone, I need to get into work soon and I’m trying to explore my options on what jobs I could get. I’d like a term time job so I can use the weekends and holidays to spend time with my kids *I don’t want a job that’ll take me away from my kids* Any Ideas ? 😅💗
I'm from the UK and was wondering can my partner take paternity leave (1/2 weeks) at the same time I am off with maternity leave or would he have to use annual leave instead?
Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone who is now getting their 15 free hours can share how much this has affected your invoice? We’ve had ours through and a rough saving of just over £200 per month (our LB goes 3 days a week) going from around £860 to £620 for September. Our friends LB also goes 3 days a week and hers...

So I was wondering, for those in North Carolina that qualified for Pregnancy Medicaid, how long did it take to get approved? I went to the Health Department and they said I’m eligible and I applied and I’m waiting to be approved before I can make an appointment.
Hey mamas! I’m a mom of 2 (3 year old and 7 week old boys). I’m on maternity leave until early November! With my first son I had an idea for designing a diaper bag that would solve all my complaints with the current ones. I didn’t have any idea where to start but now that I have my second I’m thinking about it again...
Just in case this might help some of you with mat leave planning, you can get universal credit while you are on maternity leave. With my first I had 6 months full pay, 3 months SMP then up to 3 months unpaid. Husband was studying so had a low income, and we were able to get universal credit towards the end of my mat...
Hi! I am from Australia but I am currently temporarily based in San Diego, will be here until November this year. I just found out I am pregnant and I’m not sure who I need to make an appointment with? I will be back in Australia for delivery so I just need someone to take care of the first trimester initial tests ...
I have a wonderful job that gives me close to 6 months of maternity leave. 12 weeks short term disability and an additional 12 weeks paid leave. I keep seeing/hearing “plan your maternity leave” what does this mean? My boss knows and is a procrastinator.
Do you still plan on making contributions to your workplace pension while on maternity leave? I currently pay the max amount my company will match but I’m considering lowering my percentage while on leave. I’ll only be getting SMP.
I will also appreciate if I can get any help with Getting a remote job too. Thanks

I still want and need to work but I need a job I can either work from home or have the baby with me. It’s a very long st...
