I’ve been having contractions on and off for 4 weeks. Past week they’ve been “true” contractions in the back, uterus and stomach. My pelvis feels odd and painful, almost like it’s “stretched” or “open”. Just wondering if this is dilation I’m feeling or the usual aches?

There is so much for recovery after a vaginal birth but I'm unsure what is needed or people have found works best after a C-section? Thanks!

From my understanding, these could all be signs baby is close? The contractions in particular were really intense on Friday, mostly in my back and up my stomach - I really thought baby was on the way! But I haven’t had a bloody show yet. Does this happen for every woman?

I have heard that water breaking can be a gush or a trickle. What was your experience? If your water broke either way, did you continue to have fluid leaking?
