Have you been given a date yet?
Hi ladies, im 37+2 and went into triage last night with reduced movements and was put on the monitor and babies heartbeat was goin up to 197, for a good 2 hours it was up and down, had a scan today to check all is well and the sonographer said my consultant will probably to speak to me about induction at 38 weeks, c...
Iām just curious. I delivered a sunny side up baby last year. Vaginal delivery, but tough. 2 hours pushing, lots of butthole pain, and he had meconium aspiration from the stress of the delivery. Had to be rescucitated. What was yours like? C section? Flipped over at the last minute? Back labor? Complications? Just w...
anyone have experience with being induced? iāve had low papp-a levels so they donāt want babygirl to stay in too long so theyāve booked an induction for 40w0d on october 1st and i donāt really know what im in for!
Hey all! So we have been invited to go camping soon but we are stuck on a few things. Any advice as well would be greatly appreciated! This is a list of bits we have as extras so far obviously alongside his normal stuff (nappies, wipes, toys, medicines, extra clothes, warm clothes etc) heās exclusively breastfed s...
Has anyone gotten rid of their mama pooch and gotten their flatten stomach back after c section? If so how long did it take ? And what did you do ?
Anyone else considering or booked in for an elective c section either maternal request or medical need? Would love to get your experience on this and how youāre feeling :)
Iāve been noticing the past couple days my mucus plug has been coming out more frequently and in larger amounts, last night I had terrible stomach cramps all night not like any others Iāve had before but I donāt want to keep going to the hospital cause they seem to treat me like Iām overreacting every time Iāve gone...
Anyone requested their birth records from the Royal Surrey County hospital? How do you do it? I cannot find the relevant contact info online š«£
Early pregnant with number 2 and it works out roughly 21months between my EMCS and this one being due. Anyone and a similar gap and gone for a VBAC? My c section was due to raised heartrate for both me and baby (thanks to interventions) so I don't think my body itself was the issue (although I'm gonna request my bi...
We are having an elective c section and our consultant told us the other day of the risks of having steroids between weeks 37 and 39 and research showing it could cause later problems for the baby being on the spectrum. We have a low lying placenta and told if if doesn't move than section will be at 37 weeks Also c...
UK based. Currently being induced, and waiting to have my waters broken. Exactly how painful is this? I had the third set of gel and at this point idk if it was technically a sweep or if my midwife just had to manually tweak my cervix š but I think she basically had to give the last bit a helping hand and hooked itā¦
It is looking like I'm going to need my care transferred to one of the these hospitals until I give birth. I'm 32 weeks currently. What is everyone's experiences? Both are 1.5 hours away from me.
Iāve been having contractions on and off for 4 weeks. Past week theyāve been ātrueā contractions in the back, uterus and stomach. My pelvis feels odd and painful, almost like itās āstretchedā or āopenā. Just wondering if this is dilation Iām feeling or the usual aches?
Hi, did anyone have the steroid injection as their baby was going to be premature? Was it okay? My waters have broken early at 33 weeks and the doctors have just advised this injection. Any advice would be really helpful. Thank you so much!
When did you all start wearing normal underwear post c section? Getting tired of these big knickers but too scared to go back to my normal underwear as I donāt want to irritate my scar. Iām 9 weeks postpartum now and it seems to be healed pretty well from what I can see
Hey! I'll be a planned C-Section mama in November (fingers crossed no early appearance) and wondering what the best things to pack for the recovery afterwards? There is so much for recovery after a vaginal birth but I'm unsure what is needed or people have found works best after a C-section? Thanks!
From my understanding, these could all be signs baby is close? The contractions in particular were really intense on Friday, mostly in my back and up my stomach - I really thought baby was on the way! But I havenāt had a bloody show yet. Does this happen for every woman?
Did anyone go into labour before their elective date? Did you go straight to hospital and was it still a relaxed experience and manageable recovery? X
I have heard that water breaking can be a gush or a trickle. What was your experience? If your water broke either way, did you continue to have fluid leaking?
