My lease states that pest control will be provided every third Thursday of the month. They’re almost never consistent but in the last two years we have lived here they usually come. They’re almost never last 4-6 months I’ve noticed more bugs than usual. Majority of which are spiders or roaches or stink bugs. We live...

Husband tells me off I can’t manage

I’ve got 11 month old twins, husband is wfh but busy on calls. When off calls he likes going to garage fix things around the house or car and he often does it til late and spends only 30 mins in a day with the twins. It frustrates me as I am with them 24/7, he always has ‘things to do’ which is true but I think babi...

Done having kids

I'm done having kids... I would like more kids, but I don't want multiple baby fathers, and I definitely won't be having any more by my children's dad. I'm currently 5 months pregnant and have a 1 year old. He's there financially, but he thinks that's all that matters. Smh, he was never shown affection as a kid or b...

Partner goes on solo trips

My partner is a wonderful provider and I’ve been a SAHM for 20 months. He’s also taken on $10K of my debt. I do all the baby rearing house stuff. Do you think he should be able to go on solo trips to away football games? He’s taken 5 trips in 20 months where I have to solo parent for like 5 days. It leaves me extrme...

Job and nursery

So I’m currently a SAHM and my daughter is about to turn 1. I’m looking to go back to work when she’s about 18 months, I’m wondering is it best to apply for the funded hours and find a nursery first or to find a job first? I’ll only be looking for something part time, maybe 2-3 shifts per week max.

Autism - need to vent / freaking out

A post has just been made, but my topic is slightly different. I basically need to ventilate, talk about it, ask for opinions, because I'm obsessed with the concern since the nursery team mentioned it, and I can't stop thinking about it. We have our 2 years appointment on the 25th and I guess these two weeks will pa...

Baby prefers jars and pouches/ weaning struggles

So I was so overwhelmed with the weaning after the first couple of weeks and gave my baby the jars and pouches (I was starting back to work too so these were handy) but baby will not eat anything I make. I know she doesn’t even know the difference between my cooking and pouches but she just will not entertain it if ...

C section not a major surgery in my husbands eyes

4 days postpartum and my husband has really pissed me off. I had to have a c section because my first did a lot of damage when coming out. Parental preference 😢

My husband is great with our daughter and I am truly grateful for his support and how present he is as a father. We have been through a recent period of very unsettled nights (this lasted for months) where my daughter wanted to breastfeed continually ( she was previously night weaned). I normally let her feed but it...

Christmas gift for 5yo boys

I’m out of ideas what to buy for my nephews. We never see them unless we go visit. They’ve been invited many times and never come over unless it’s for Christmas and we live just 30min away. I’m not looking to invest too much in those presents. Maybe 25$ each and under? The problem is their mom has made them incredib...
