Good morning! I am a third time mum and have had two previous normal vaginal births, due to mental health and intrusive thoughts, ocd I am wanting to opt for a c-section this time around for a more controlled and calm environment. I am due to see my perinatal mental health consultant in November but am scared she wi...

Hello! I'm moving to Eastleigh tomorrow with my partner and 1.5 year old little boy. I'm also about 5 weeks from giving birth to another little boy. I'm shitting myself for the relocation tbh! I've never lived far from my family and friends before so it's all just a bit new and scary! What hospital does everyone rec...
Any first C Section mamas who had an emergency section - how’s your recovery going? I’m only 6 days post section and just had my dressing removed - the scar itself looks lovely just really struggling with recovery a bit mentally and physically right now.
Now I just have to start organizing and making sure the last bit of stuff is ready! The hospital bag is ready to goo!

So i think I might be loosing some of my mucus plug a little. I'm 31 weeks will be 32 weeks Friday. I personally don't know what the mucus plug is supposed to look like. What im seeing when I wipe is clear jelly like discharge? My discharge has never been jelly like. I looked it up but I can't believe everything on ...
Just wondering if anyone gets that sudden super sharp cervix pain and how it compares to really bad contractions lol. I know it's not legitimately your cervix that's in pain but HOT DAMN they hurt. And I want to know if anyone can describe a comparison between the two pains?
I gave birth at 26 weeks as my cervix dilated at 22 weeks the progesterone didn’t seem to have done much for me and a stitch was not done due to shortened cervix. How can I ensure next time I don’t have the same issue ?
I lost my mucus plug today and I’ve been pooping a lot the past few days and mostly loose stools. I’ve also been having pressure on my bladder and cervix. Anyone experience this and how long was it till you went into labor?
Been told to get there for 7:30am, does anyone know what sort of time I’ll likely be in for the section? Just to have an idea if it’ll be before the first visiting times and such! Very nervous 😅 (at the general!)
Y’all i just lost my mucus plug… How long did it take for labor to start after y’all lost it? ( if you already had your baby or been pregnant before)
What’s everyone’s views on travelling anywhere beyond 2hr drive after hitting 37+ weeks for social events (ie weddings, baby showers, parties). Wise to skip and stick to local radius or go out for a bit of fun even if it means worst case scenario being in labor and in the car for 2-3 hr drive back to hospital?😂😅
I have currently chosen Scunthorpe as my birthing hospital but have heard good things about Grimsby. Both have requires improvement ratings and the same recommendations for improvements in the maternity wards, so looking to hear real and recent experiences at either hospital. We’re not from the area so don’t kno...

Getting induced tomorrow morning. What should I eat before? Anyone do anything specific to prepare for their induction?
Might be a stupid question but can you get little trickles of your waters? Like I’m expecting this big movie type gush 😂 Just got off my ball to go to bed and I’m wet, (thought maybe sweat , gross) but it’s a bit more than sweat but not enough to have me notice it was water if you get me? 😂
Hi everyone, I had an emergency section with my daughter 3 years ago and my blood pressure went haywire/suffered a haemorrhage and it just wasn’t a nice experience. However! This was after being induced and labouring for 12 hours. I’ve heard elective sections are worlds apart, but I can’t help worrying that once t...
