Gushes of clear fluid

Last night I had a lot of gushes of clear odourless fluid that I couldnā€™t control just kept trickling/gushing but no contractions just pressure and dull ache. It then stoppedā€¦ I went to the hospital to be assessed and the swab came back with no signs of my waters breaking or my cervix dilating. It definitely w...

Diagnosed with small pelvis

Hey! My first bub was born via c-section (unwanted) after labouring naturally for 54hrs and getting to 7cm but declared to have a small pelvis as bub was large, sunny side up, and wouldn't engage through the pelvis. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and was able to achieve a VBAC in their next birth...

Feeling a lot of pressure in my pelvis, had a bloody show and sharp pains and pressure in buttocks & extreme back pain. I was in the hospital last night but w...

C section hospital bag

Itā€™s highly likely that I will have a planned c section instead of home birth šŸ˜. Is there anything specifically different I should take in my hospital bag for this? Like bandage for after, compression socks?

Home Birth

Is anyone considering a home birth for this baby? Iā€™ve had a terrible experience in my hospital during labour and post with my first and more recently a misdiagnosis leading to a loss so I basically donā€™t want anywhere near my hospital for my rainbow. I canā€™t go to other hospitals because they donā€™t think Iā€™d make...

Mucus plug coming out gradually?

Hi, Iā€™m 36+4 weeks and think I found a very small amount of my mucus plug in my knickers today. Definitely not discharge, it resembled something more akin to what would come out of your nose than that! Just wondering if others have had their plug come out very gradually, and if it means much at this stage?

Induction?

I am currently 40+4. Had a low risk pregnancy but have been booked in for an induction at 41 weeks. Iā€™m hearing different stories and just wondered what everyoneā€™s experiences are. I really wanted to go natural but also donā€™t want to go 2 weeks over.

How soon after C-section were people walking about?

I had a C-section 3 days ago & while the wound is sensitive so Iā€™m slower moving around, I have been up and about around the house, mainly going from upstairs to downstairs to relax or grab a drink nothing strenuous in my opinion, however my midwife came yesterday and was shocked that I was going up and downstairs a...
