Has anyone had a toddler who didn’t start talking until after two? My two year old twins still aren’t talking 😩 they’re in therapy but idk if it’s working. Just wondering if anyone had a late talker that now speaks just fine.
FIL always tells baby “let’s give mommy a break because you make her tired” I could be just sitting holding baby and will still talk to baby taking him away and giving me a break! Usually I don’t mind but I just wish he could ask to hold baby or wait until I could hand him over Not telling baby that I NEED a break
I know it’s completely developmental but just out of curiosity how does everyone handle it! Because I’m say no thank you in a gentle manner but even if am saying it in a gentle manner she gets upset and I don’t know it makes me feel so upset that she starts crying but like surely we don’t ignore that behaviour she’s...
Lately my 3 year old keeps saying no to me after anything I ask him to do. Why does he do this? I bet he learned this from school.
Tonight whilst walking up to bath my LB, we now count up the steps as he likes to try walk them himself. I was counting one, two, three etc and noticed he remembered the sequence of “seven” and “eight”. I was very happy but then went on Google and someone has mentioned this could be a sign of autism if babies are co...
I have a 3 year old and 2 year old. My youngest is going through his big emotions and getting his molars at the same time and that in itself is so rough. But my 3 year old is also going through emotions the worst I’ve ever experienced. It’s getting to a point where it’s completely disrespectful. Like hitting and scr...
Does anyone else’s baby seem to hate the car?? He’s ok for first 10 minutes or so and then just starts to get moany and upset. He always has someone in the back with him and we’ve tried toys and singing to distract him but it doesn’t last long. We have some UK holidays booked this summer that i was really looking fo...
My little girl is 11 months on the 12th and she is still not crawling, showing any signs of it or anything. She rolls around the floor and can change direction easily so I think she’s quite happy doing that. However I’m worried that she’s still not crawling and she’s not even attempting to like pull to stand or an...
does anyone else have a really ‘easy’ baby and find they get a lot of negativity about this? my little one is 11 weeks old. has slept through since 3 weeks old, is clingy but will let me put her down to do tasks and i know im lucky but all i hear off people is that it’s all going to change and dont get used to it an...
Hi! Any advice appreciated. My 5month old suddenly hates going out in the pram. He used to love it, and we would do 1.5hr-2hr walks a day where he would happily nap or watch the world go by. I changed to the pushchair seat, and even got a new pram with a more comfortable pushchair seat, but he hates it when we are o...
any babies trying to stand yet ? he’s so determined to walk . my son can stand for a bit on his own but once he loses focus he topples over lol . He’s pushing things tho 🤣
My daughter will be 17 months old in a couple of weeks and she still isn't walking. Should I be worried? She cruises around furniture and even climbs it now! But when she's standing her feet are 'out-toeing'. the nursery have suggested buying her shoe, which I did, but it's not doing much difference. I keep thin...
My son is almost 3 years old and I have a one month old. Since bringing baby home my son has been acting out, which I understand, but I’m really resenting him for his behavior towards me and the baby. He’s resorted to hitting me and trying to hit the baby. I gently push him away and tell him that the baby is too sma...
My LG is 21 mths and she can say quite a few words and has done for a long time she says dada all the time to get her dad's attention and when sees a picture 9f his says dada but will absolutely not say mummy or anything similar. Should I be worried.
I heard before that babies can see angels because they are more connected with spiritual world. My father passed away 15 days ago, unfortunately she didn’t meet him in person. :( Sometimes she just look at the ceiling or empty space and smile. Do you think babies can see the angels? I believe that he is her angel gu...
My little boy turns one month old tomorrow, and I’ve done loads of research that says that babies don’t social smile until 6-8 weeks old, but this smile looks so different to the reflex smiles 🥹 does anyone else think this smile is for his mummy? 🥹💙
How do you deal with tantrums? My son started daycare about two weeks ago and already learned from the other kids… what he learned he tries on us. I asked the teachers and they told me he never acted like that. How do you deal with tantrums?
Is this normal?🙃😅
Our little one keeps picking an adult in the weekly music class and becoming “friends” for the session with them. This week he reversed and sat on a ladies knee 😳 we both didn’t know how to react. He is so loved and gets cuddles/attention constantly. Would you be worried? Am I overreacting? Or is he just…
10 hours after surgery, no pain meds, and our little guy was just full of endless energy. Max will be 7 months on the 11th. He is (army) crawling, rolling on both sides, sitting up on his own, and now pulling himself up! I’m so proud of him, let’s continue to celebrate our babies milestones! 💕gotta love our…
