Tantrums?

Anyone else’s little one started to tantrum if they don’t get their own way? My LO was poorly for a week, so we resulted to watching some TV (about 30 mins a day) as it seemed to be only thing that calmed her. And now she’s obsessed! But also lots of screaming and crying if she wants to get out room if gate closed o...

She can count to 10 with help, say all abcs with help, knows animals and some sounds, says tons of words, knows all body parts but to her EVERY color is either purple or is this normal? 💀 I will literally show her a color yellow for example and…

🌸 Not potty trained or trying yet, she is uninterested. 🌸 Knows some colors, not all. 🌸 Knows some numbers, not all. Can't count. 🌸 Knows some letters, not all. Can't read any words. 🌸 Can't write or really draw but does scribble and make marks with crayon on paper. 🌸 Knows everyone's names in the family…

Falls At Daycare

I am signing a form to acknowledge my 8 month old falls and hit his head almost every day. He is pulling up and attempting to cruise but loses it. At home we watch him very closely to keep him from hitting his head because we have seen him hit it hard before. I know he will fall sometimes, but am wondering if this f...

will it get better?

Hello, i’m a mother of two baby boys. My oldest will be three next week. I’m in denial but ready to accept that my son has autism. I see a lot of signs such as spinning here and there, covering his ears if he’s somewhere to loud but loves to have his volume up high on his ipad, speech delay(lots of babbling) high pi...

Is anyone else’s baby skipping traditional crawling?

Being a bit overreactive first time mum I guess…. My LB was a very early army crawler, he was on the move from 5 months old. But then…he discovered standing, started pulling to stand on our hands a bit shy of 7 months and he has no interest in being flat anymore… he is close to independent walking, but still refuses...

Milestones

My 2 year old is reaching and surpassing his milestones except for speech. He knows at least 25 words but it’s like he refuses to speak. Is anyone else having this problem or have any tips to get him talking more. He had an evaluation for speech therapy but they told me he doesn’t qualify.

How do you not get triggered by little things your kids do? / is it normal to feel this triggered?

My daughter bites her nails, if I hear her doing it or I see her doing it I literally cannot stand it and want to scream and leave the room. Is it normal for it to make me feel this way and what can I do?

Advice for reactivity on walks

Merlin, our gentle giant, spent a week in kennels over Christmas and now coming home is completely different on his walks. He’s always been a little jumpy around big vehicles but is now reacting to every single car, bike, truck, even people who walk too close or too fast near us. I’ve been going back to basics with ...

Speech

My son is saying around 30-40 words and putting words together. We read loads and practice words etc. However we’ve noticed he can’t make certain sounds for example a ‘L’ sound so for light he says bight or ight, and our dog is called Bella and he’ll say Beya. And the ‘w’ sound so for water he says bater. Just won...
