I’m thinking about having an elective C-section. This is my first baby. I do have an apron tummy so would a C-section be a good idea as I’m worried about my skin rubbing on the incision and scar. I don’t want it to get irritated or anything. Any C-section stories welcome 💜

Looking for recommendations on good delivery hospitals nearby. We visited Garfield Medical Center (anyone delivered there and willing to share their experience?) and USC Arcadia (we like them but it appears they don’t take our insurance).
Hi all, I’m booked in for my C-section tomorrow and I am absolutely terrified. Any tips on how to stay calm? Any positive stories people can share of their experience? I’m so excited to meet my baby but struggling to see past the op currently. I’m scared I’ll put my baby in danger by panicking. Thankyou x
I just got a cervix check my cervix is high enough that the gyno took a while shoving their fingers to find it, however they said up to 1cm dilated. The baby head is very low and has been like that since 28 weeks but my cervix was closed at 28 weeks.
So with ryanair, it allows a baby bag upto 5kg and a certain size. What am I NOT allowed to take in there? Can I literally pack it with clothes, and then formula/food, Calpol, nappies etc because technically I won’t need all of this for the plane. I’m just worried my suitcase is already getting heavy without any...

How was the experience like with the needle in the back and everything? My first was an emergency CSection, and the epidural/spinal didn’t spread throughout everything like it should have due to my scoliosis. So I ended up screaming murder in the middle of them seeing me back from the pain. This time I have a schedu...

I woke up today and went to go in the shower and I have yellow crust on both my nipples. From a quick google it seems like this is colostrum - just wondering if I should be doing anything different now that I’m producing this? Worried I’m gonna be wet through my bra or something - feels quite early to be producing no?
Been having BH for weeks and weeks but today the pressure down below is unreal and even in my bum! Just noticed babies movements actually hurting me, and I think I just had a real contraction because the baby moved then it was like a wave going down into my vagina and hurt with a lot of pressure and then I got hot a...
Hi all, need your advice or maybe someone is or was in a similar situation. I was diagnosed with low lying placenta, at 28 weeks it was still at 2cm. On top of that I also have declining blood platelets (last birth I ended up with 70 at the end). Of course there is still a chance that placenta will move, but it only...
Does anyone else feel like they need to suck in or compression on their belly’s after c section? I sometimes feel like I can’t breath if I’m not sucking in or have compression.
I recently had an emergency c section after a failed induction, I found the whole experience really traumatic. Have people had a traumatic experience and emergency c section and then gone on to have more babies? Did you choose to have a second c section? Or try natural?
