I’m reading a lot here about doctors wanting everyone to be induced before their 40 weeks, and it seems not for emergency reasons!? They wanted to induce me a couple days ago for elevated BP due to anxiety but I told them no! It’s been fine since then. I told them I’d consider it later so they scheduled me for induc...
It’s not always like this, it comes and goes, is it normal?

Hello! Has anyone had an elective c section at NSECH? How was your experience if so? And do you know if they have particular days of the weeks or times they schedule for?
Lost my mucus plug yesterday and a bit more this morning - my tummy has been feeling rock solid and I’m having to pee a lot more than usual due to the pressure down below! Out of curiosity, how long after losing your mucus plug did you go into labour? I understand it can vary
Hello ladies! We’ve opted for an elective C section for the arrival of our little girl, for any mummas who have had or are having a C section, how have you been preparing?🥰
So I just had a sudden gush of liquid come out when I was moving around n changing my toddler, it was enough to dampen my underwear and the panty liner I had on as well as creating a tiny wet patch where I was sitting. So not a lot but it doesn't smell or look like pee, doesn't have much of a smell maybe even slight...
I started contracting at home and went into labor on my own at 37 weeks 1 day! It came on fast and was way different than my first induced & vacuum assisted delivery. Only tore to the 2nd degree instead of a fourth like last time. Thank goodness for epidurals. Pushed entirely on my own! So happy 🥲
Hello All, I am in the middle of packing my hospital bag. I’ve got the basics but I’m worried that I am missing things. Does anyone have any ideas of things that are not always obvious? Also what sort of things are good to take as snacks. Thank You!
We've just recently found our we're expecting our 2nd. We live away from family (hour and half away). Not only this but my family are going to be abroad during my estimated due date. I'm worried who will be able to look after my 2 Yr old when I give birth . I want my partner there but obviously my 2 year old needs...
Hello! I’m pregnant with my second baby - due next week actually. My April 2022 baby was an emergency c section following a failed induction and so I’ve got a choice of whether to opt for an elective c section or natural birth. I was leaning towards a natural birth but I have a provisional c section date booked al...
Gestational diabeties and Polyhydramnios with an 18 month gap, am I mad going for a VBAC induction 👀 opinions please 🙏🏼
Anyone else at the stage where any braxton hicks or twinge or bit of mucus when wiping make them think that this could be labour starting soon? 🤣 I wish I could stop thinking about it, I'm 36+5 and reallllly hoping they stay put until at least 39+3 as I've not finished preparing yet and have actually got a few…
Hey! Can anybody advise what postpartum necessities I should carry with me to the hospital please!
Any C-section moms using belly binders immediately after the surgery? Has it been helpful and has your doc suggested you to use it? I’ve heard mixed reviews about using compression to uterus and belly binders, want to check what your doctors have told you.
Does anyone else have random muscle spasms in their lower left abdomen after having a C-section? I'm 16 months PP and I get the most painful muscle spasms in my left abdomen at the most random times. I'm used to getting them in my calves but this is way worse it's like I can't breathe when it happens.
Well I guess my baby is going to be an October baby. So I have mild anemia and they want to do a c section when I'm 37 weeks I'm currently 33 weeks and 4 days. Any must have items for a c section? I don't want a c section but I don't have a choice. I had a c section with my last baby but I didn't pack a lot I want t...
I feel awful and not ready for a c section. So I had my LG in 2022 via C section and I wanted a vbac this time around so I told the consultant that I would opt for a c section if I'm overdue without going into labour. She was okay with it and gave them the window I chose. But the date I was given was too early for ...
