How far in advance did you get your letter for your 12 week scan? If anyone's with Nottingham university hospitals as well that would be great to know. I'm 7 + 6 and got my midwife appointment on 27th Feb, I'll be 12 weeks on the 11th march

I had my son in 2021 and then you heard the heartbeat at 16 week midwife appointment I see the NICE guidelines have changed, has anyone still heard the heartbeat at 16 weeks or have majority of midwives stopped this now ?

I had my gender scan yesterday and its a baby boy! I knew from the beginning and kept telling me partner i definitely think we are having a boy, he thought i was a bit mad😂. So excited and so happy. Although Ive been told I have an anterior placenta does this mean I’ll never be able to feel him kick?

Those who are opting for an elective csection, have you had your date yet?? I have a growth scan today followed by a consultant appointment (32 weeks today) but am not expecting my date today. Just wondering if anyone else has been told yet :)

For those that were not high risk, did you ever get an ultrasound during third trimester with your OB? It’s so scary to think that there won’t be any ultrasounds done. How do they know everything is okay? My last ultrasound with my OB was at 12 weeks.

What did your hospital/midwife say? Did it affect how they treated you during delivery?

Is anyone obsessed with scans !? I’m 9 weeks and 3 days and I’ve had 2 nhs scans as I had a MMC and 4 private scans. I’m just so anxious that something is going to go wrong :(

The scan is so zoomed in I don’t think you can even tell but interested to know what people’s opinions are whether this is a boy or girl?? We find out 7th March at an early scan but I’m so impatient!🥲

Have my 12 week scan this week at 13+1. We are doing the screening for downs syndrome, Edwards and Pateo Syndrome. Does anyone know how long results are taking to come back at the moment?

So I have my first appointment when I’m 9.5 weeks pregnant, will I be given an ultrasound then to see/hear baby? And would it be considered safe enough after this to announce my pregnancy if I wanted to? 🤍

Can anyone reassure me about the chances of a missed miscarriage after a 12 week scan? I’m such an anxious person and really want to get a private scan for reassurance but obviously they are expensive. I keep thinking what if something has gone wrong and I don’t know. Any support or advice is welcomed.

Can someone tell me what happens at the 20 week scan, mine is at the Ulster Hospital. Do they do the scan and then you go home or is it the same as the 12 week one where they bring you in to talk after etc . How long is appointment
