For context my little boy was born 31st May so will be 9 months old next week. My little boy has never been a huge fan of drinking his milk. We've struggled with silent reflux, constipation from the gaviscon and lots of reflux and trapped wind...I started weaning him at 6mths (resisted the urge to start earlier!!) a...
Whats everyones opinions on baby rice and bits like that at 4 months
Anyone else’s little one a fussy Eater? My little girl has never eaten lots and lots compared to the people I see on tiktok at the same age and sometimes only eats a few spoonfuls of each food😓she’s seems to only eat beige food like potatoes, fish cakes and the yoghurt and blueberries, seems to go in waves with her…
She is so picky at home. She won't eat any meat, and the only vegetable is green beans. She eat alot of fruits. Yogurt is touch and go out comes in waves. She doesn't really like milk. She loves her noodles, Mac n cheese, breads, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, and stuff like that. I just feel like she eats the same thi...
He is showing all the signs to start weaning. I have tried broccoli once already a week ago and he had the best time trying it. I’d be keen to start baby lead weaning with large pieces of vegetables he can grab. I know the advice is 6 months. What are everyone’s thoughts?
I'm not sure what to let him do after eating. He doesn't like sitting in his highchair after he's finished eating even with his toys. He just wants to roll around on the floor (6mo) but it's too soon after eating. Not sure what to do
Mums How much does your little one eat? I keep worrying that my daughter isn’t eating enough, she has a bowl of porridge and a yogurt for breakfast with about 7-8 ounces of cows milk. Then for lunch and dinner she will have around 250 or 300g of food. She always has some fruit too which she always finishes. Is this...
A mum in need! My little boy turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. He used to be such a foodie. However, in the last 2 days, he has refused all food! He's only on 2 milks a day now, and I'm worried he isn't getting what he needs! Is anyone else's child doing this? Advice welcome!!
Soon I'll be starting solids for my baby. What all should I buy for that?
Just curious how many snacks your little ones are having per day between meals and what kind of snacks are they having? It seems like my little boy constantly asks for snacks in-between meals but does really well with his meals too, so sometimes it's hard to distinguish when he's actually hungry and when he just wan...
My 19 month old has never particularly liked being fed off a spoon but now it’s worse than ever. Breakfast & lunch she’s great and feeds herself well but dinner time has become a nightmare. She pushes the spoon away and screams. If I try to let her feed herself she eats next to nothing then wakes all night due to be...
I’m going to do a bit of batch cooking this week as I’m 38 weeks and feel baby could come at anytime. I only did a little last pregnancy and felt we heavily relied on takeaways. Any good recipes people would recommend please?
Hey guys I need some advise. I’m really struggling with my 15 month old. He’s not a good eater he only eat pasta and broccoli he won’t eat any fruit unless it puréed. But he just wants puréed meals as it’s only way I can get him to eat any advice.
Anyone else starting to wean their little one at 4 months old? My little one is gaining weight slowly! She’s 16 weeks and is only 11lb 3oz and only on the 2nd percentile! She also suffers with bad reflux!
Hi, So, I took my baby to the health visitor feeling like she was ready for weaning. She's having 7oz every 1.5 hours, very unsettled and showing interest in my food. She literally stares at me whilst I eat opening and closing her mouth like a fish. She's 4 months old and the health visitor agreed that she would be...
Hi, I have a 14 month old super active toddler boy. He likes to play, the moment he opens his eye early morning. He is gaining weight and height. He just takes one nap. The problem is I am EBF and I thought in first year the main nutrients are from milk. So I never forced him to eat if doesn’t want to. But then I ...
Mums with babies with still not many teeth, how are you serving grapes or blueberries? I'm still cutting a grapes down into thin slices as LO only has 6 teeth. With blueberries I quarter then squash down.
Does anyone do a snack box/jar/cupboard that their little one has access to whenever they want throughout the day? Would love some inspiration! I love the idea of putting out a set amount each day and allowing her independence to eat them when she chooses
Has anyone else got a little one who doesn't indicate that they're full. Our boy would just keep eating and eating if I didn't limit the food on the plate. Like I've tried to feed to full before and he ended up eating an adult size portion of pasta and still didn't indicate fullness at all.
My 8mo has suddenly gone off her solids this week. She will play with it, but wont eat anything, finger foods or purée. She usually loves her food. Don't think she's teething although I'm not sure - she doesn't seem distressed. I'm basically force feeding her at this point. Anyone else had this?
