Anti sickness medication

Has anyone had any experience with Xonvea? My trusted friend cyclizine has stopped working and the drs have said this is a new anti sickness medication that has recently been licensed for use in pregnancy and wondered if anyone else has been prescribed it?

Please HELP

I have been on a strict dairy and soy free diet for almost 5 weeks but my baby still reacts (blood in her poos). I thought that this time was enough to clear out the MP. I don’t know what else to do, I’m barely eating anything, feel like giving up on breastfeeding but that breaks my heart. Should I stop eating egg a...

She is 4 1/2 weeks old and recently has become so restless and visibly in pain, I feel like I’m failing her as I can’t do anything to help. - Struggling to Poo (Constipated) - Arching Back - Spots / Rashes on Face & Body - Can’t sleep lying...

Newborns are so stressful trying to figure out what’s wrong! At the moment we are trying to figure out if my son is uncomfortable because of normal digestion.. reflux.. colic.. or CMPA! It’s always a worry 😅

Allergies

Has anyone else developed an allergy after having their kid and then the sudden allergy magically disappearing a few years later? All my life I grew up on whole milk and all dairy, after giving birth to my daughter I developed a lactose intolerance but recently (3.5 years later) I can now eat it all with no proble...

Baby’s first bath

We’re looking to give our baby his first bath. I’ve seen videos recommending a milky bath and its benefits for baby skin. But NHS says it’s best to give babies a plain water bath. How did you bathe your baby the first time?

Would you vaccinate your 8mo early for measles if there was a case in your city?

First case of measles in my city. Baby is 8mo and I’m worried. We are out a lot around other kids and my toddler goes to a preschool a few hours a week that sadly does not make kids get vaccinated. Obviously the toddler is vaccinated but we go into the building to pick her up a baby is with me most of the time. Ha...

Causing chaos

I took my eyes off my boy for 2 seconds to clean up after him and he began cleaning the toilet with my hairbrush. The bathroom floor and him were soaking. Today he had a death wish and kept running away from me in front of the swings with big kids in them. He’s driving me to an early grave. Any other stories?

Baby Feeding Struggles - Help?!

My boy will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Sometimes he was struggling after feeding with wind, so we tried Infacol & that seemed to help, but the HV said to try gripe water instead. This was used last week & seemed to help a bit. However, yesterday baby seemed to start struggling again with his belly after a feed and it’s g...

Food help!!

I have introduced my baby to cow and gate porridge as part of her starting to eat food instead of her 210ml 11am feed. However the last few days she is showing signs of constipation and I just can’t get her to drink water throughout the day. I’m looking for some advice on how to get babies to drink fluid and what an...

Looking for recommendations for a prebiotic and/or probiotic for my almost 15 month old baby girl. She struggles with constipation and I just want to help her little system. I try hard to avoid anything non-natural and she has a very balanced diet as well as she still breastfeeds. Any recommendations would be appre...

3 mo old peeing less

My girl is still urinating but not as much as before. She used to have full diapers in between feeds and now they are less heavy diapers. She doesn’t have a fever, is eating fine and hasn’t been acting super different. Is this normal around 13 weeks or should I take her to the doctor?

Pro and anti vax common ground?

Parent of the child who died of measles STILL thinks their DEAD child is better off without the MMR vaccination. I thought perhaps a common ground between those that vaccinate and those that choose not to was the livelihood of their children, but if we can’t see eye to eye on that, how do we find a common ground to ...
