Raynaud's of the nipple

I've developed what I'm sure is Raynaud's in my nipples in the last couple of weeks and it's agony! Whenever I feel cold my nips go really hard, turn white and start burning. This lasts for around 10-15 minutes, even if I'm able to warm up quite quickly. Has anyone else experienced this and found anything that helpe...

Water

Does anyone have any advice on how to give water to a baby?, I’ve tried giving it to my 10 month old several times . She’s only meant to be drinking a bottle in the morning then at night of milk. So I need to give her more water but she isn’t drinking it and I’m stressed 😩

What’s your take on white noise?

Me and my partner just had an ‘argument’ about using white noise, for context putting white noise when baby is cranky and when feeding seems to settle her and she seems to calm down with it. My partner is adamant that we should try without, but I have and she won’t feed well as she keeps messing about, whilst with w...

Breastfeeding

Any moms still breastfeeding? How long are you planning to continue? I told myself I wanted to make it to a year but now I’m on the fence about weaning. I currently breastfeed in the AM and PM and pump in between to send with her to daycare. Daycare provides them with whole milk but I’m not sure how I feel about i...

Hi everyone! I’m new to breastfeeding.

My little boy is 3 days old, I’m feeding him every 2-3 hours for roughly 10-20 minutes at a time. Is this enough? He seems content. Also, my boobs and nipples are EXTREMELY painful and rock hard. When does this become easier it’s making it very difficult for me to try and stick with it ☹️. Does this mean I have to f...

Exclusively pumping

Did anyone switch to or only EP? Really thinking about it, just feel like it might be more convenient since I have a 14 month old toddler that also requires my time and attention. Just want to see other people’s experiences. Thanks!

Breastfeeding and trying for another baby again?

Moms, did any of you get pregnant intentionally while breastfeeding? I’m really torn. My baby is almost 1 and we want to start trying for another baby again soon, BUT, I still don’t have a period.. no sign of it either. I’m worried I won’t be able to get pregnant & we’ve been exclusively nursing for the past 8 month...

Breastfed baby suddenly very fussy feeding

My 13 week old has suddenly become very fussy on the boob for the last week or so. Never any problems previously. About 90% of feeds now involve starting to suckle and then repeatedly turning his head away, pulling on and off, thrashing arms about etc. Seems like he's not feeding so I take him off and then he gets u...

Breastmilk cooler for travelling?

I was wondering if there’s anything that’s portable that can keep my fridge temp breastmilk cold on the go till I need to use it? The stress of a time limit to use the milk stresses me out on the go and it’s a lot of wasting! I’m nearly considering keeping a mini fridge in my car but even that would probably need t...

Stopped breastfeeding and period hasn’t come

I’ve been breastfeeding for very nearly 2 years and I’ve gradually dropped feeds over the past year. I conpletely stopped breastfeeding 2 weeks ago. My periods have been very regular since about 3/4 months after giving birth so for me to miss one is very unusual. I’ve taken a load of pregnancy tests and they’ve a...

My little one is 15 weeks and has been exclusively breastfed. I’ve been trying to get her to take a bottle of expressed breast milk in the hope I can have some me time! I’ve tried NUK & MAM bottles to no avail! Is there any teets or tips on how you got your baby to take the bottle? She never took a dummy either.

EBF baby won’t take the bottle!

Hi ladies, so my baby is EBF and she’s 7 weeks old. She’s had 2 bottles of my milk since she’s been born just to test that she will take them but lately she’s refusing. I use the MAM bottles at the moment. Has anyone else tried different bottles and found one to be better than the other? I have a few things comi...

Breastfeeding tips!

Last night, literally over night, my milk supply came in and my boobs slowly got harder and baby started struggling to latch as easily as he was. He’s also been a lot more keen to be on the boob. Any tips for managing just how firm and painful they are right now? Or how I can get him to latch more successfully

Jelly Boobs🤪

For EBF ones - do you find that your boobs are softer than before? If I wait long enough they will get hard and full again but I find that now that LO is 1 month old I think my breasts are not as full feeling as they used to? I read online that it could be because our milk supply is adjusting?

Postpartum Night Sweats

Anyone dealt with postpartum night sweats? I wake up every morning drenched in sweat. My newborn is 9 days old and my midwife told me this was hormonal caused by my milk coming in. How did you deal with it and did you take anything to help?

Help with sore nipples

My baby is in the NICU and still has quite a tiny mouth at just 35 weeks (he was due 28 December). I started trying to feed him which works really well but yesterday my nipple had this excrutiating prickly pain that hasn't gone away. I tried warm cloths. I'm not sure if its cause he wasn't latched properly. I starte...

Teeth

How do you deal with feeding once baby’s teething and have teeth. My baby is just starting to teethe, and one of my biggest fears with breastfeeding is getting bit. How can I stop her from biting while shes teething and once she has teeth?
