Thinking of stopping breastfeeding

I am currently 8 days postpartum and have been exclusively breastfeeding however I’m so close to going to formula as mentally I am struggling. I feel like I’m sleeping less and less each night, I’m not eating or drinking properly. Baby girl doesn’t seem to feed long enough then doesn’t sleep much in between I jus...

Duration of breastfeeding

My baby is currently 4 weeks and seems to breastfeed for up to an hour at a time (he seems to be a bit lazy and doesn’t always suck, falls asleep a bit and unlatches sometimes) Is this normal? And does anyone have any advice to make breastfeeding more productive to hopefully reduce the time he’s breastfeeding for.

Bedtime & sleep

My son has been going through this phase for months and months now, he wakes up in the middle of the night shouting for mummy on 3 or 4 occasions and I will put him back to bed but eventually I just give in and put him in our bed! I am in my 3rd trimester and I am absolutely exhausted, bed times are hard work as he ...

Bed time routine

What is everyone’s bedtime routine? I want to make the best bedtime routine for my 5 month old to sleep longer stretches (currently waking every 2hrs she is breastfed) but sometimes she won’t go straight back to sleep?

Cot naps

Hi all. Baby is now 4 months and up to now I've been mainly doing contact naps or long walks in the pram to get him to sleep (and he will sleep in the car as well). I had tried cot naps earlier on and he would just wake up, and then saw some advice that practising independent sleep isn't really necessary until 4 mon...

I don't know what's going on

Little one is 14 and a half weeks now and this week has been super fussy. He had started going from 9/9.30 to 5/5.30 at night the only thing we were struggling with him dropping a feed was trying to make it up during the day when he doesn't often finish the bottle with the next ounce up or when he does he spits hal...

Human dummy!

My 6 week old daughter has been so hard to put to sleep the last few days! It’s not witching hour anymore, it’s a whole day thing! It’s like she’s fighting her sleep and wakes easily, we don’t even put her down, she’s constantly in our arms. I’ve had her on my breast since 5pm, it’s now 10pm. She is suckling in be...

Oh baby is 2 weeks and 2 days. We thought we had his feeding figured out a little but the last two/three days he has being really difficult to feed. He was taking 4oz every 2.5/3 hours. Toddler will only nap in the car…Tips please

My son is 2 in April and he’s on 1 nap a day. He was so good at napping in his cot. He’d love going up and sleep for around 2 hours and I could get things done. For the last 2 weeks, as soon as it’s time for nap time, he asks for the car and if I take him up, he has a full on meltdown so I’ve had no option but to d...

Car Seat Help!!

Any recommendations for a car seat or on how to get the seat to stop forcing baby boys chin into his chest? The one that came with my travel system forces his chin into his chest, the only way he can use it is by me having to adjust the headrest to pull his head back a bit, but I’m not sure this then provides enoug...

Sleep help

My 3 year old is constantly overtired, please send help 😂 he sleeps 7:30-5:30ish is tired still but won’t go back to sleep. He used to nap to catch up (I’d give him 2 hours) sounds crazy I know but then that night he would sleep 7:30-6:30 so he essentially gets an extra 3 hours and is soooo much happier in himself…

What counts as "waking for the day"?

Sorry if this is a silly question 😳 My 5mo tends to wake early in the morning (6am). This morning she woke at 6:20 - or at least I woke then to her babbling. I left her for 20mins to see if she would go back to sleep, she didn't, so I got up and breastfed her. Put her back in her cot while I went to shower and get…

So my 2y 4m old has always slept in our room in the crib which is attached in one side with our bed. I’m 6mo pregnant and in July baby will be here and I need suggestions on how to handle baby and toddler.

I don’t plan to put my toddler in a separate room for now so how could I manage both kids? Anyone with same preferences could pls suggest how you’ve done it please ☺️

Active sleep

My little guy makes the craziest sounds when he sleep, and he kicks his legs and moves his head and grunts and is absolutely impossible to sleep through. So my question is how do you know when to just leave them to do their thing and when to pick them up Becuase he wants a feed or nappy change or just a hug? Do you ...

2 yo waking up too early in the morning

Omds I’m losing my mind!! My 2 year old sleeps at 9pm but wakes up at 6am every day! He used to get 10 hours at night with frequent wake ups, now he sleeps through from 12-6am but is up way too early. Nap is 2-3 hours long bc he doesn’t get enough sleep at night. I’m also pregnant and running on about 5hrs sleep. Is...
