Hi am 39 weeks and they are offering to induce me however I’ve heard if you’ve had a c section before induction will lead to C-section. Has anyone had a successful natural birth after being induced? I just don’t want to go through with it all if it’s not going to be successful and end up with c section :/
Don’t want to sound stupid… but can I just confirm this doesn’t mean I’m going into labour soon right? I’m 37 weeks and have tonsilitis and really want to get better and recover 😅
I went to my 38 midwife appointment, I mentioned I had reduced movements so she sent me to the hospital where they advised I should be induced. I stupidly agreed just wanting to meet my baby. They tried putting the balloon in which failed and caused me excruciating pain. Because that midwife couldn’t do it, she aske...
Did anyone else experience a lump above their c section scar/wound? i just noticed a small lump that is hard and where the lump is, it is swollen and is on my left side but my right side isn’t swollen, not sure if i should call the hospital or if it’s a common thing :)
4 days post c section, suffering with the worst most painful constipation of my life, I can still hardly walk or lift my baby, my nipples and boobs are killing me, I’m so sleep deprived 😭
Have many people had an open wound a little while after a c section? I'm 3 weeks pp and have a small would with staph infection. Been advised to keep it covered and put gauze packing in there but doesn't really seem to be getting any better. It's so gross and freaks me out a lot! It's a cm deep! It's numb which is g...
There’s nothing better than finally being able to sleep on your stomach after healing from a c-section 😩😩
I’m being induced today, still waiting for a phone call to tell me what time I should come in, is that normal? I don’t want to call and hassle them if it’s not necessary, what time have people been called to come in previously? I know it may well very trust by trust, I’m in Colchester if that’s any help 🙈 Thank you xx
I had an awful birth and recovery with my first. Baby was back to back, I was exhausted from 3 hours of pushing and a long labour and ended up in theatre with forceps and an episiotomy. We then had to spend 3 days on the special care unit for Baby and I was feeling pretty traumatised by it all (feeling a bit better ...
My husband can’t seem to tell the difference. Left is 34w right is 36w
Lost mucus plug help!!! Is this the mucus plug.... and what happens if you lose at 10 weeks pregnant 😔 I'm worried as me and partner had intercourse last night.... probably why I lost the plug
So I'm not booked in for an induction or anything but I'm just curious wondering if it does come to that will I need to be manually dilated IE balloon catheter if I'm already 2-3cm dilated? I had a sweep on Tuesday and she advised I was 2-3cm and baby was only partially engaged🤷♀️
i’m looking for someone who i can relate with.. please share your experience.
How long after a pessary was inserted did labour start?
This might sound snobby but I had a horrible experience last time I gave birth, so I don’t want to go to the same hospital. Does anyone have recommendations for hospital that have upgraded birthing center, decent rooms, actually places for the dad to sleep, and nice staff in the piedmont triad North Carolina?
Hey guys currently in hospital waiting to get unexpectedly induced!! So scared any words of encouragement would be great!!
What’s everyone thinking? Pros & cons to both? Why can’t the stalk just come…..

This is my second baby, first I had an elective section before going into labour and knew this for a while. This time round I want to try for a VBAC, I'm 36 weeks and I'm so tired with my toddler and work and honestly I've not started any perineal massages, eating dates, using my birthing ball etc, I have now finall...
Hi all, I apologise for the long post in advance. I'm currently nearly 6 weeks postpartum, and my birth ended in an emergency c section. I am a plus size girl and since having the c section I've had 3 different antibiotics as I kept getting infections even though I have been keeping it clean, letting air get to i...
