Having a boy first definitely set me up for higher expectations! My son was so chill, he didn’t need constant entertainment or cuddles… My daughter on the other hand is sooooo clingy, I can’t do anything without her wanting to be attached to my hip all day. I physically can’t do it though because she’s a heavy baby...
I noticed my girl has recently been hitting herself on the head with her hands. She usually does this when she is trying to fall asleep. Is this some kind of self soothing? It’s not even like gently patting her head. She literally is smacking herself on the head.
What are some games or things that I can do to help my newly 2 year old talk more? Any favorites? Any games you like to play? Give me allll the ideas. Thanks!!
My LO is almost 9 months old (born 6/30) and I noticed her friend who’s two weeks older is far more advanced than her. Her friend is crawling, has two teeth, and is standing. Other babies her age are pulling themselves up onto furniture when they stand. While she rocks back and forth and has now gone from sitting ...
Is anyone else's kid just always upset? The past few days, it's more than just the usual whining. My daughter is crying CONSTANTLY. At the smallest upset or delay or when she doesn't get what she wants - and sometimes even when she does get what she wants. Help!
My 3 and a half month old HATES the car. I mean she screams her little head off to the point where she can’t anymore. It makes me so sad and it seems like NOTHING helps. Even when I’m back there with her, it doesn’t make a difference. I hope she outgrows this soon 😭 I dread going anywhere, but I don’t want to stay…
Anyone’s baby screaming loudly? My 4 months old is screaming like crazy! It’s more since last two days. He’s literally screaming for everything for pain, joy, attention, boredom, hunger, sleeping. He’s so loud making us crazy. He might be teething, got him frida baby teething relief yesterday hoping it helps him kee...
My baby boy is 2 months old and doesn’t smile much. I’ve caught a few smirks but not sure if they are social smiles or not… I’ve read that this milestone could take up to 6-13 weeks but I am dying for my baby to start smiling back at us… would love to hear from other mamas whose baby took a little longer to smile.
Anyone else in the scritchy-scratchy phase😂 he does it to everything, his clothes, his muslin, his toys, my face and now he’s in bed scratching the mesh around the edge
Hey mamas my 6 month old scratches everything he puts his hands on , from the mattress to the sofa , walls you name it .. is this usually a thing? are they learning and is it a way to explore new textures. New mama here🤦🏻♀️
Don’t you hate it when you tell people your child is under speech and language at 23 months and they say well mine speaks in full sentences and swears like good job?👍
My sweet little 18 month old girl has begun hitting me randomly when just sat on my lap almost as if to get a reaction and also when told no, is this normal ?
We are starting to think our son might be colour blind, he seems to really be struggling with the green. Has anyone else experienced this and have any advise? Xx
My little boy constantly goes up to other kids and try’s to hit or pinch them or pull hair ( I feel like I’m constantly telling him off or I can’t leave him with out being there like at soft play etc ( he has only turned 2 but ) but I have constant anxiety when we go out of other kids are there ( please tell me this...
My 8.5 month old keeps going crazy in her high chair thrashing around making meal times a nightmare! Anyone else going through this? Any tips!!
My little boy (18 months) has been biting other children at nursery. It’s been going on (on and off) for 2 months. The nursery staff have taken to giving him time out of the classroom today. Before they were just removing him from play and other children, but still in the same classroom. I’m upset they did not con...
My son has been in the nursery since 10 months, moving to toddler room and now the preschool. Never had any issues apart from a biting phase over a year ago. They’re very complimentary about him, never raised an issue. Today I got an email after I’d picked him up from manager and key worker asking for a meeting to d...
My little boy is 15 months and doesn’t seem interested in talking or walking. He babbles but no words yet not even mama or dada. He crawls and can walk holding on to something but doesn’t even want to try on his own no matter how much encouragement we give him for both walking and talking. Is this normal? Is he behi...
Is anyone going through a phase of just frustration? I give her a toy and she gets angry and starts screaming at it, put her on playmat, screams at the dangling lions, literally everything. It’s so loud in our house🙉🙉
Trying to get him to walk more but it just always results in him wanting to be picked up. Even at home he’ll want to be picked up whilst I’m cooking etc.. don’t know if I’m overthinking it or he should be walking more at this age? He’s an active toddler always playing and at nursery full-time.
